"In the hustle and bustle of the electrical contracting world, this place was a perfect retreat from the grind. The hot tub was amazing and the views were even better. The cabin was very comfortable and the AC worked very well and thank goodness it was 100 most of the week. Will be taking other adventures soon and you’ll be at the top of the list for communicating on future endeavors.!"

"I hate giving negative reviews, however.... Upon arrival, access was very easy. The owner/ property manager provided clear and concise information. The property was easy to access, but definitely use a 4 wheel vehicle. However, the online photos of the property are deceptive. The cabin is not as rural as one would think. The building has much more wear than depicted. The deck is high above the ground and the boards are warped with openings. It did not feel safe. The gutters had plants...

"Great place in a beautiful part of the country! Super quiet, well furnished, and a lovel place to spend some time. Hot tub was great and there's a small creek a few minutes away to catch crawfish and cool off. Highly recommended."

"The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes....

"It was an enjoyable stay. Standard cabin in the hills. Unfortunate that I was asked to take the trash up the driveway when we got in after 20:00. Been so long since the trip, I forget if it was two or three full cans. We only made 1 bag of refuse. Check in was simple. Top key box had two, bottom had none; went to the bottom one first. Some cabinet doors were off of their hinges. The door handles to the sliding doors were loose or missing hardware. The white, wooden rocking chair was broken....

"This cabin is so nicely decorated and a lot of thought was put into making sure we had everything we could want. Lots of extra blankets to cozy up by the fire, or read a book and enjoy the woods out on the deck. All the spices to add flavor to our meals, plus other staples like sugar and flour. Bed linens that were soft and warm (tons of pillows of every size and density), thick towels and make-up wipes. There’s even a bidet for those who are looking for that next level. "We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at this location with our adult children and grandchildren. It was wonderful! Our grandchildren range in ages from 6-18 and they all found something to enjoy (especially the hot tub!) we would recommend this place to everyone. It was a quiet, low key place to unwind and enjoy family time"

"When choosing this property, we had a budget and decided to stay a few shorter days to stay here because of how it looked in the pictures. The pictures are accurate in what is there, but we thought it looked more updated in the pictures than what it actually is.
