The whole cabin was great. We were 11 guests and we never felt like we were on top of one another. Great space, adaptable to different activities. Very cozy. Everything we could have needed was provided. We will be back!

Great weekend

This is our 2nd time staying at the Potomac Cabin. We were excited to go down to the river and use the tubes this trip and it did not disappoint. We did a 5 hour float! It’s so nice having the convenience of the tubes and kayaks right at the water access. The house is beautiful and very clean. It’s extremely nice having everything you need in case you forgot something! Very nice having ac in each room especially during a heat wave! Thanks for the memories!

Our Christmas Cabin

This is our second year celebrating Christmas and New Years at this cabin! We bring a little tree and decorations and presents…..there is absolutely everything we needed there. Had a wonderful 4 days.

Great stay for outdoor adventurers!

Had a wonderful reunion with my college friends in this home - it was the perfect place for our gathering. Some notable day trips include Washington DC and the Green Bank Radio Telescope Observatory, plus lots of hiking and river activities all around! A quick glance at the welcome book and it looks like a number of people complained about the bugs - what were they doing in a cabin in the woods if they didn't want to see some harmless bugs? Had a lovely time, bugs, friendship, and all :)

Great family getaway

We had a great extended weekend family getaway at Potomac Cabin. The cabin was plenty big for the 13 of us that ended up staying. The outside walking trail, fire ring, hot tub, and deck seating were great too. Overall we had a great time and would love to come back and stay again.

We wanted to get away for my birthday and this cabin was everything and more. It was a beautiful view with so many things to do. I would definitely recommend.

30th Celebration

Group of friends stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed our time!! There was something to for for everyone. We mostly loved the fire, hot tub and bar room down stairs. Would highly recommend and will be returning!

Cool cabin in a great place!

Had a great time at this cabin, which was huge! Tons of room for everyone. We spent most of our time on the back deck. Everyone enjoyed this place. If you stay here, check out the overlook bench behind the house...up the hill. Great views up there!

Room/ space for everyone

Cabin is definitely off the beaten track but was exactly what we were looking for. Our family of 112 dogs and three generations had plenty of areas to enjoy.the close proximity to the river / and access to a large number of floats/ kayaks and life vest made daily fun on the river easy .Back at the house we really enjoyed the down stairs rec room. and time in the hot tube. Many card games played and s'mores by the firepit. Lots of towels available after river fun. If you are a family that wants to be together and still have space to do your own thing this place is for you. Took hike to outlook for great view, which this 70 yr old did not find difficult. Lovely large home

Pure awesomeness

We had an awesome time, we fished, we cooked over the fire pit, sipped bourbon in the hottub, hiked, drove to some beautiful trout streams, tried to fish the Potomac but the rain had it too high and cloudy, visited an amish market, shot some pool, played cards and darts...and my 11 year old son loved the retro mini arcade. Absolutely a great cabin with plenty to do.

Great Getaway

A lot of space for a large group. Awesome views of the river and the cliffs. Good sized game room that will keep everyone busy. We would book again!

Just what we needed!!

The cabin was gorgeous and the setting was so peaceful! It fit all 10 of us perfectly with room to spare. Our adult children enjoyed playing pool and having some adult beverages around the fire pit We had a fantastic time! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Potomac Cabin

We all loved it! The trails are fun, and down at the river we had a ball! The beds were comfy. Fun at the Pool Table.The downstairs was great! The Hot Tub was a hit. Loved the whole place! Could use a couple extra outlets in the kitchen. The bathroom in the loft needs a light .

Big house by the river

Lots of room in this house and it's beautiful inside and out. Plenty of privacy. The river is full of fish and there are plenty of good places to go. The property manager is very responsive and helpful.

Solitude

Loved the peace and quiet along with the location. The outdoor hot tub was unusable due to very poor water quality. The deck, trails and river were very relaxing however.

Relaxing extended weekend with family

Our dogs love water so this was the perfect location for me and my family! The river is just a short walk away and there was plenty of indoor activities to do on the day that it rained. The rooms are bigger than they look in the pictures! Beautiful cabin!!

Great Spot for a Getaway

We stayed at the cabin with a group of 9 guys to celebrate my brother's 30th birthday. We loved everything about the cabin. It was VERY clean and beautiful. We loved the wood burning stove, the hot tub, dart board and pool table... And the location is stunning. Views from the porch are beautiful, and the cabin sits on the side of a hill with a short trail to the top of the hill where the views are even better! 5 stars all the way, would definitely recommend.

Great get away

If you are looking to disconnect, this is your place. If you want to be in the beautiful woods of WV, this is your place. It is a great place to go and be with the family or friends and re-energize yourself. We were there in the summer and it is a great season and time time to be in WV, but I have to imagine that each season offers something special. It provides a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends and/or family. You will enjoy.
