We did not want to leave

Amazing house with great hospitality from Stéphane. Fantastic location for relaxing, big family gathering but also activities like running, cycling, sightseeing and shopping. We enjoyed every bit of it. It’s a luxury hotel experience!

Amazing property

La Jasso is a stunning propert with amazing mod cons and great grounds with a pool, children playground and a small animal holding which is perfect for young kids to keep entertained. It is a 15mins walk to the medieval castle. The kitchen is well equipped and so is the laundry room, making it a very convenient home to home option.

Great stay, much recommended

The place is outstanding. The owners work in the hotel industry and have built qbd organized their place in the same way. All the kitchen apparel is top notch and the several rooms are very well decorated. The garden is breathtaking and our 6 kids did not have enough time to venture around as there was mich to keep them busy. Logistics and communication with the owner was flawless. Overall much recommended. Thank you Stephane.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful week in Carcisonne at Steaphane & Cecile's gorgeous house. We were greeted by Stephane, who was an excellent host and gave very detailed information about the area before we arrived. We found the supermarket easily and enjoyed walks into the old city. But most of all we enjoyed the house, the pool and most definitely the favourite room in the house was the kitchen. The house was clean and tidy and the rooms perfect on arrival. We enjoyed the house and the grounds were gorgeous. Heidi was an extra lovely companion, and you wouldn't know she was there (unless you were eating steak). We would definitely stay again, our main regret was that we only had one week and would have loved longer to experience more of the area. The beach in Narbonne was lovely for a day, but I am sure there are some wonderful coastal areas to visit. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay in your goegous house.

It would not be possible to praise this estate too highly. Everything inside and out is perfection

A welcoming arrival with careful explanations. A professional grade kitchen and huge kitchen/ dining area was most used. Plenty of bathroom facilities and everything worked well. The outside is spacious and well thought for enjoyment of beauty, privacy and socializing. The pool and “zoo” are focal points for adults and children but both well away from the spacious beautifully groomed grounds. The walk into town ,either the Cité or the City is convenient and delightful. Anywhere we spent time we were in awe at how everything was thought out and organized. Thank you Stéphane for a most perfect place for our large family to gather and hiliday in a world of decadence. We hope to return soon.

Incroyable! La maison est magnifique, spacieuse et décorée avec soin et goût. La cuisine est immense et bien équipée. Que dire de l'espace extérieur, du coins piscine du Zoo et du terrain de jeux pour les enfants. Nous n'oublierons pas de sitôt les soupers à l'extérieurs sous les arbres. Wonderful family rental property in a great location. Spacious house & well kept grounds

We stayed at Domaine Jasso for 2 weeks this summer as a family of 13 including one toddler. Property perfectly suited to this type of gathering. Grounds are incredibly secure giving the kids free reign to form their own adventures. The pool was great and easily big enough for all of us - provided some good shade by the trees in the afternoon. So many activities for the kids: tree house, zip wire, bmx track, table tennis, trampoline, film room (great for rest from the sun), feeding the animals....list goes on! The house itself is very spacious with plenty of room for noisy kids & quieter areas for relaxed grandparents! All rooms very neat & tidy with good bathrooms. Bathrooms were shared but with a little planning, there were no arguments at shower time. Property is in a great location - nestled amongst the very well kept vineyards but only 15-20min walk from La Cité or slightly further across the vieux pont to get to the Bastide. Lots of restaurants/bars within walking distance so plenty of opportunity to enjoy the local rosé! Car needed for trips to supermarket (main centre de commerce out towards airport). Stéphane is a great host - always responsive if we had a query & full of useful information. Merci Monsieur! And last but not least, Heidi, the resident guard dog. A gentle giant of a St Bernard but a great character. My son has dog phobia but Heidi really helped in putting his fears to rest. The kids wanted to bring her back to England! Merci encore Stéphane - a great holiday at a highly recommended location. Alli, England, Aug 2018

A luxurious and well appointed manner house situated amidst a menagerie and vineyard.

We had a very fine stay. The children (and adults, for that matter) loved feeding the animals. They named many! The swimming pool was also a great source of pleasure. The house worked well for eleven of us. The kitchen is trois etoiles. There are actually more bathroom facilities than listed (all in great condition), although I do think it should be noted that three of the six bedrooms are NOT air conditioned (the remainder of the very large house is, and it also provides wonderful media facilities). Carcassonne the Cite is a fifteen minute walk along a beautiful riverside path, while the town is a 3 or 4K drive. The Canal du Midi provides an excellent place for runs, walks, and bike rides. Principal places w/i a reasonable drive are Toulouse, Albi, Narbonne, beaches by the sea and endless sights in the Pyrenees--lovely villages, Cathar mountain-top castles, hiking trails, etc. The host/owner was present to greet us, gave us lots of info, and was fabulous in addressing the minor crisis of rental car keys locked in the car trunk. This is a place for a large group--you can stay self contained on the estate with plenty to do, or use it as a base of Occitan operations.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location!

A very well equipped property with enough space for a large family or group to be together or find a bit of space. Our family loved the gardens for sunbathing football and frisbee games. The pool was great really deep at one end and safely fenced off. The trampoline was a great hit particularly with the younger memebers of the family. Everyone loved feeding the animals. Quite a walk from the Cite but with the amount we ate and drank this was a good thing. The owner Stéphane was very helpful and friendly, but most off all we loved the family dog who resides on site a beautiful gentle giant.

Hautement recommendable

Nous avons passé au cours de ce mois d'Août 2016 , 15 jours au domaine de la Jasso. Deux groupes familiaux (12 adultes et 3 jeunes ou très jeunes enfants au plus fort de notre occupation) ont cohabité sans problème dans cette très belle maison , dotée de finitions de qualité et de vastes espaces. Difficile de ne pas se mettre aux fourneaux dans la cuisine spectaculaire ( 80 m² ! ) , dotée d'aménagements dignes d'un professionnel. La piscine mériterait vraisemblablement de bénéficier d'un deck plus vaste qui serait plus confortable que l'aménagement actuel. Très grand jardin qui a fait le bonheur des enfants ( agrès , balançoires , trampoline) , le parc animalier n'étant pas étranger à son attrait. Si l'on rajoute à cela la Cité de Carcassonne à 20 minutes à pied ,la très grande gentillesse et le très grand professionnalisme des propriétaires , location hautement recommandable.
