Buena ubicación

Da a la plaza donde están los bares, restaurantes y conciertos . Muy bien ubicada para salir.Se puede ir andando a la zona protegida, unos 20 minutos andando.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay at this apartment, everything was perfect! Kaye is a very kind and helpful host. We particularly enjoyed the good location, the supplies available in the apartment, the comfy and elegant decor, and especially the instructions manual to the apartment, with lots of helpful insider tips and recommendations about Carcassonne. We felt so good we didn’t want to go home!

Superb French Apartment

My partner and I have just spent a most enjoyable week in Carcassonne staying at this apartment. The apartment is ideally located overlooking Place Carnot.The apartment is very comfortable and has everything that you need for an enjoyable stay. Contact with Kaye was excellent, as was the weather during our stay.We will certainly stay in this apartment again as and when we return to Carcassonne.

Highly recommend!True to pictures.Kaye has though of everything!Extremely clean modern apt!Fully supplied with basic things one needs to have a great holiday!Includes food wraps & basic pantry supplies..all cooking & ldy essentials!Remember to replace any supplies you use for next customers!Overlooking main plaza in town.Secure,underground parking at Parking Souterrain Gambetta, 5 mins walk away for 7 per 24hrs 15 min walk to Old Citi.

Sehr liebevoll und zentral gelegene Wohnung,parken sollte man in der Tiefgarage für 7/d.Nette Empfangsüberraschung (Wein,Kaffee). Leider nachts bis 3h und früh ab 6 h sehr laut,da unmittelbar an größtem Freisitz-Gastronomie -Platz gelegen.Jugendliches Publikum ohne feste Unterkunft verbringt dann gern auf der Platzbestuhlung die halbe oder ganze Nacht,bis früh die Gastro-Betreiber wieder alles fürs Dejeuner finishen.Gute Kommuniktion mit Gastgeberin via Portal.DANKE!

Carcassone stay

The apartment was perfect for us as we were looking for somewhere central. Parking in one of the underground car parks meant we could leave the car for the 3 days we were there. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay including milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine on our arrival. Kaye our host was very prompt with returning our messages and due to an early flight in allowed us to check in to the property earlier than the stated time. The apartment was clean, tidy and very comfortable for our 3 day stay

Comfort in Carcassonne

Hello Kaye,As you know, I recently spent 4 days at your apartment. and was extremely delighted to be there. The apartment was so clean and comfortable, ideal for a single visitor or a couple. The location was a bonus being only a short walk from the train station and situated on a lovely Place close to many great restaurants, bars and grocery stores. French experience in French town

We were reluctant to leave after our two weeks there. The apartment had everything we needed and shopping was so conveniently close. If we wanted to travel further both bus and train options were close by, and there was lots to see if we preferred to stay within walking distance. The Cité Médiévale was stunning! We loved it all.

We’d stay here again.

We were very comfortable at Kaye’s apartment. The location was great, it was stocked exceptionally well with everything we needed. Communication with Kaye was excellent. Having windows onto the square with sun streaming in was lovely.

A charming apartment

A very pretty, French style apartment in the heart of Carcassonne Bastide overlooking the charming and bustling Place Carnot. Very well equipped kitchen, should you tire of the plentiful restaurants round about. We had a lovely stay. Lots to see and do in and around the city.

Perfect short break

Perfect place for a short break.Appartment well equipped including beach towels. You are at the centre of activity and can get around on the local buses for next to nothing. We didn’t have a car but managed to visit all the main attractions by foot or bus. Transfer by bus from the airport was very short then a short walk to the apartment. The owner Kaye was easy to contact and ample information in the apartment about places to visit. Great break at a great apartment and location . We are a couple in our late 60’s but found it had something for all age groups

In the middle of the action. Offered by a great hostess

We enjoy being right on the Square. Where all the action is. Kaye is a terrific hostess, leaving detailed directions to everything inside the apartment, the immediate neighborhood, and the surroundings. We do not have a car, so I do not have an opinion on parking facilities. I am sure Kaye has the information. Supermarket, pharmacies, cafés, and outdoor activities are all within short walking distance. The World Heritage sites of the medieval city La Cité de Carcassonne and the Canal de Midi are a short walk away. Outdoor walks around the Aude River are beautiful, flat, peaceful, and a few minutes walk from your front door. When we needed a taxi, we called Taxi Carcassonne. They have taxis available on call. Call the night before to arrange pickup at specific times. Thank you Kaye for helping us have a wonderful stay.

We stayed for two weeks and used this as a base to travel to a few other places as well as enjoying the village life of the Bastide. It is certainly a great place to just chill out and feel a bit French.

Great time in Carcassonne

This place had everything we needed for a great stay. Centrally located , very French and easy walk to La Cite. The information booklet left in the room was invaluable, especially the “easy” route to La Cite.Definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely, Convenient, and Everything Provided

Highly recommend this apartment. Our stay here was fantastic! We were so happy when we walked inside and looked around. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well decorated. It seems the owners have thought of everything, including a binder with everything we needed to know about the apartment, appliances, the neighborhood, and places to visit. The location is central and very convenient. The windows have a great view overlooking the square with its many restaurants. We stayed 5 nights, walking throughout the town and taking day trips in the car. Parking the car was super easy and safe in the paid parking garage straight south of the apartment. The attendant there helped us buy a cheap pass for the week. Communication with our host was awesome, and we appreciated the wine upon our arrival. We will definitely stay here again.
