"The Captain was most gracious. We spent three nights docked in Marina del Rey on a yacht. While on this trip, we also took a short cruise. It was so spectacular. There was a water bus that we took to some shops. Lots of fun. The crew on the yacht were so friendly and attentive to our needs. This was our first time as overnight guests on a yacht. It was a beautiful experience. I highly recommend this type of vacation."

"I spent a month on the houseboat called “Salty Dog”. I had my 20 lb puppy, Tilly with me and a friend who is a professional pet sitter came and joined us a few times. Two things really impressed me. 1., the boat was superbly equipped as if ready for a long range voyage and 2. The neighbors were all Salties - creative, fun, and helpful. Proximity to everything from a grocery store , laundry and to a pub and a bunch of great local restaurants all within walking distance was great. Parking was easy...

"Cute and clean houseboat. Mallony was a pleasure to communicate with and quick to respond. The sunrise views from the top of the boat were so beautiful. We even saw a sea lion! Its close proximity to downtown Sausalito made walking around so easy. "

"Just spent the mon th of March on this adorable floating home at Issaquah dock. The boat is very comfortable and compact.My host, Regina, is fabulous!!! She is so committed to her renters enjoying themselves. She's a delightful person and I'll miss her. She's totally on top of every situation and is available and responsive."

"When we first arrived, we noticed a bit of weeds around the property which was a little concerning, but not necessarily a deal breaker. Inside the first thing that hit us was the smell. It was awful. Stale and musty and definitely cigarettes. Maybe it just needed to air out. But the windows were already open and it was quite breezy inside. The advertisement clearly listed it as a “no smoking” rental and that was a must for me as my son has health issues. We walked around inside trying to come to...

"3 - 3.5 totalBoat was very nice, a little cold but that's mostly down to the unusual cold snap we're in. There were plenty of heating options, but few negatives I'll list below.Hot Water - The host implied there was hot water available and gave instructions on how to fill a tub or take a shower. We tried several different faucets and the bath but were unable to get any hot water from any of the available sources. Not sure if there was some button or water heater we needed to activate, nothing...

"This home is large and comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for. It's not just a house but a vacation experience. While it's a unique community, it also felt very easy and welcoming. I will be back. "

"We had a wonderful stay on Vela! The boat was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. We loved watching the boats and wild life in the harbor and had so much fun taking the dinghy out to explore more.The boat had everything we needed to make a few meals. The marina bathrooms were convenient, large, and clean. We would absolutely stay again when we are back to Ventura. "
