Villa Pedra Mar is an absolute gem of a place. I couldn’t recommend it enough! It’s a beautifully decorated and very well maintained property, run by the friendliest and charming couple. The breakfasts and dinners were plenty and absolutely delicious in a beautiful setting surrounded by ocean and greenery. And we were made to feel so comfortable. Top notch hospitality! Don’t hesitate to book it!

This was one of the most amazing stays ever! This property is super comfortable and has the most stunning views. We can go snorkel right off the adjacent dock or take a tour to dive in one of the many islands surrounding this beautiful one! Food and service was excellent! We will return as soon as we can!

A conexão com a natureza é incrível, a casal é super simpático. Porém o valor da diária não vale ao entregado. Ficamos 4 dias, o café da manhã foi o mesmo, bem restrito. O jantar é gostoso, porém no 4 dia já estava repetindo o menu. As coisas na praia vermelha são muito caras. Valeu a experiência, mas não vale para uma diária de 1mil reais

Wow! What an incredible place! The hosts Riann and Karien immediately make you feel at home. The staff is extremely polite and friendly and the food is delicious. I will definitely go back!

Momentos de paz.
Incrível. O Riann e Karien são ótimos anfitriões. Muito atenciosos e solícitos com qualquer necessidade. Todos os quartos possuem vista para o mar. Café da manhã com vista e Karien cuida do café fazendo ovos ao estilo que preferir. A noite, jantar surpresa preparado pelo Riann, com entrada, prato principal e sobremesa, pratos equilibrados e bem servidos. Durante o jantar preparam o quarto para dormir abrindo um mosquiteiro na cama (veja foto) fantástico. Peçam tudo para o Riann (transfer de Angra até passeios, eles possuem ótimas indicações). Praia de Itaguaçu fica a 5minutos de caminhada simples (parece praia particular). Vamos voltar com certeza.

Merveilleux séjour Karien et Ryan sont très accueillants et aux petits soins. Super brunch et dîner inclus. Le lieu est très calme et familial. Parfait pour se reposer. Je conseille vivement.

Two Thumbs Up!
Great Place. Great Hosts. Great Beach. All around a great experience. Riann and Karen were great hosts and the food was excellent. The island itself feels very remote, so if your quest is for a remote island experience that is just a short boat ride from the mainland then this is your place. Not a better place on the island.

Really nice family run place Great view, just a short stroll from a small beach with a few bars and places to eat Dinner is included and is very good If you want to have a few days in peace and quiet then this is a good choice

Peace and tranquillity- a great antidote to Rio
Stylish; very personal; only 3 rooms. We stayed in the honeymoon suite (did not know that but husband booked largest room). The view, the tranquillity — nature — were exactly what we wanted after 4 night turbo charged New Year’s Eve celebration at Rio de Janeiro.

Just Perfect
We had an amazing stay at Vila Pedra Mar. The room and the pousada were stunning and Karien and Riann, the hosts, were very friendly and helpful. They serve delicious breakfast and dinner everyday and they can help with boat trips etc. The sourroundings are absolutely beautiful, a lot of nice beaches close to the villa. I highly recommend booking your vacay here, you won’t find anything better on the island.

Amazing place to stay. The host are wonderful, the snorkeling is great (off of a private jetty 20 feet away from the house), the food is fantastic. If we come back to Brazil, we're definitely visiting this place again.

T, olles Hotel, excellenter Service, super Gastfreundschaft, wir fühlten uns willkommen, Das Frühstück war hervorragend, das Dinner teilweise auf dem Dach hat Riann perfekt zubereitet, es war ein Genuss, die Touren mit dem Speedboot und Nelson waren sehr gut organisiert, Der Transfer von Rio nach Ilha Grande und zurück zum Flughafen hat perfekt geklappt.

Nights in Paradise.
Spectacular view from the room. The room was clean and their hospitality knew no end to taking care of us. Our dinners and breakfasts were out of this world. Riann says he's no chef but you will question that once you taste his cooking. Karien is like no other; so kind hearted. You could tell they both truly care for there guests; little Daniel as well! We will most definitely be going back but for a longer period of time. Salud

THE BEST PLACE TO STAY ON THE ISLAND!
This was the most relaxing vacation I’ve ever had thanks to Vila Pedra Mar. This is absolutely the best place to stay in the island! The owners, Riann and Karien are two of the loveliest people you’ll meet. Their attention to detail, their home cooked breakfasts and dinners, their ability to make you feel so welcome and taken care of are unmatched to anywhere I’ve ever stayed. The snorkeling right in front of the Vila and the beach next door are some of the best on the whole island. If you are lucky enough to visit Ilha Grande, do not look for anywhere else to stay other than VPM. Your stay here will magical, unique and unforgettable.

Paradise found....
Divine, beautiful setting with kind and gracious hosts. It was a truly heavenly week we spent at Vila Pedra Mar, being spoilt rotten by excellent service, delicious meals (dinner is included and served on the roof terrace under the stars) and beautiful surroundings. I never wanted to leave. It wasn't our honeymoon - but it sure felt like one in this place. I cannot rate it highly enough!

Fantastic. Right on water. Great food.
Fantastic little hotel / villa run by wonderful proprietors, Riann and Karein. Great breakfast and an excellent three-course gourmet dinner included in room rates. Right on the water by a picturesque beach and fishing village. All rooms have great views, comfortable beds and so on. Far from the main town, but can get around using water taxis. Highly recommend.
