Great DC Trip

Property was centrally located, short walk to Metro, Whole Foods and a few dining spots. Accommodations were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. Lots to see in DC so we spent most of the time away. Made our trip enjoyable.

Sherman Ave DC Stay

I wanted to give this a 5 star review...I really did. The interior was clean, minimalistic and very functional. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. The bedrooms were nice, a bit small. I was a bit disappointed that the master bathroom didn't have a tub/shower combo. But overall this place had everything we needed and we enjoyed it. My reasons for the 4 star review have more to do with the location and neighborhood. While the location was fairly close to a bus stop and a metro station to take you do downtown/Federal Square, be prepared to walk at least half a mile to get to either. The photos online of the exterior were a bit deceiving. When we arrived, parking spot off street was not easy to find. Trash and recycling cans were out on sidewalk in front of it and neighboring properties. It made it difficult to get our luggage inside. It smelled badly and there were rats. Everywhere. The parking space was in a very small back alley. The fence was falling apart and overgrown with weeds. It stunk and there were dead rats all over the alley.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The kitchen was well equipped with the basic appliances. The 3 bedrooms were very comfortable. There were plenty of extra towels, pillows, and comforters available. The home is close to the Metro (12 minute walk) and Whole Foods (7 minute walk).

The actual property was excellent and well taken-care of. Not the nicest neighborhood in DC. If you are wanting to go to bars, it gets kinda sketchy at night but during the day it’s fine.

Great location, nice and clean and comfortable

We had 4 adult women family members, each with their own space, including one on the fold-out. It worked out great for us. Easy walking to groceries and restaurants and easy to get Uber. Parking was well described and we had no issues getting in and out. Excellent place to stay.

We were all very pleased with the space, privacy, amenities, cleanliness, walkability of neighborhood. Felt safe in neighborhood, too. Great gathering space in kitchen, living room. Nice bathrooms (3!) and bedrooms.

Clean house

Cleaning staff had done a great job of cleaning the house. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels and soaps. Easy check in and check out process. Do not park on the street in the front. The city is very strict.

Great Location

Had a very nice and comfortable stay. Roomy condo, extra clean with great communication from host. It is centrally located to most attractions in and around DC as long as you have a car or make use of bus or metro.Nice backyard porch although the view from it could use some TLC. I would rent this vrbo again.

Good space with parking
