"The house is lovely, with a kitchen dreams are made of — great for cooking, conversing, and eating. Tons of space, everything you could possibly need to cook or bake, and plenty of storage in the cabinets and pantry for all your snacks and ingredients.The fire pit in the front yard was perfect for roasting marshmallows (the provided camp chairs and corn hole set made it even better), and the picnic table next to the grill was great for sitting outside while the burgers were on. "Unique house with a ton of charm. Very clean and had everything we needed. A quick walk to the riverfront and historical sites nearby. "

"It was a nice get away for our wedding anniversary. We were able to bring our dogs and use the private strip of beach a couple of cottages away. This was a great quiet trip. The only thing that could have been better is the AC in the cottage. A window unit is provided but with 90 temps it couldn’t keep up."

"We enjoyed our time in Norfolk! The cottage was a short walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were available to answer any questions we had. The upstairs area was a great place for our 3 children to spend some time relaxing."

"This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts....

"It's a cute house, just steps away from the beach. We had a great time enjoying all the sights around town and beach during our trip. They had everything we needed to enjoy our stay...Our host was awesome and communicated with me about everything "

"Key Cottage was charming and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were standout fabulous - modern, great water pressure, and spacious. The house is well stocked with just about anything you can imagine needing. We loved the location, on a quiet corner in the cute village of Irvington with so much to walk to and do. "We had an amazing time on the river! We had planned on going out to explore but it was so relaxing and inviting in the home we didn't want to leave. We ending up getting groceries nearby and eating in.The views and river were excellent. I did quite a bit of fishing and if crabbing is your thing they are abundant off of the pier. "We loved staying at Sandy Mutts ! Communication was great , location and access to the beach was convenient and perfect as well. We only stayed for a couple of nights but it was just what we needed. We brought our chihuahua and kitty along and they were comfortable and happy. We did bring our own towels and it worked for us. I will definitely be coming back. "

"Wonderful owners with phenomenal communication. They were very patient and super responsive to messages. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Property had everything we needed and more and was steps from the ocean. The beach itself was private and not crowded at all. This was our 2nd time staying and will definitely not be our last."

"Great little house close to the river and to Monroe Bay. Perfect house for a mini getaway for my wife and I. Communication with the hosts was super easy, and the use of the golf cart was a huge added bonus!"

"The hotel is located in an area close to many things. The cleanliness of the room was not good; one of the bed blankets had blood on it, as if it hadn't been changed. We were tired and didn’t have the energy to go to the main lobby to ask for a room change, so we opted to just request a clean sheet. There was hair in the bathtub, which makes me think it wasn’t cleaned very well. The beds were comfortable, but I don’t think they are queen size; they seem more like full size because they’re small. The air conditioning did not work well; it wasn’t hot, but it wasn’t cold either. I wouldn’t stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone planning to stay for more than one day."
