"Good points, Great location for the town and beach. The view from the lounge was fantastic and a lovely little balcony on a quiet street. There was a good level of equipment in the kitchen, a comfortable sofa, a practical dining table, TV and internet, and excellent heaters in the flat as we had some chilly nights for the time of year. "This is a fantastic property. It is has all the amenities you need and the tea, milk and biscuits on arrival were a treat. You are right in the heart of the Esplanade close to the beach and the local pub/resatruants. It is a short, but steep climb, into the main town. It is a great location to explore the surrounding coast with great walks."

"Arrive to meet host, showed around, clean tidy, perfect communication throughtout the stay. We did have a small issue through the stay and this was dealt with efficiently and promptly. We are looking to stay again in April we were that impressed. Tea and coffee were also provided and soap in the bathroom, this was an added bonus and very welcome. "

"The room was clean, and a great location in Southsea. A few small issues: the TV stopped working on our last morning, the bath had not been used and the water ran yellow, but the shower was fine. A cloth to do the washing up would have been of use. Overall the room was a great base for our weekend away."

"Hotel staff and rooms were fine but unfortunately the food in the restaurant was not! We were there to celebrate our daughter’s 50th birthday and bitterly disappointed. My food was cold because I had to wait so long for my side order so ended up sending it back. Others food was Luke warm. I did complain the next day and the operations manager very kindly refunded the bottle of champagne to us. Breakfast was ok and a good variety. Hence we didn’t eat there on our second night. "
