    ACCOMMODATION

    The accommodation is arranged over two levels



    Entrance Hall

    You will enter the magnificent property at ground level with your own private entrance. There is a large porch where coats, wellies, shoes and beach games can be stored.



    1st Floor

    As you climb the stairs you are welcomed into the hall off which leads a fabulous dining room with beautiful views of St Saviours Church, you will then walk into a magnificent south facing kitchen with sea views out to Luccombe, the kitchen offers Nespresso coffee machine and a large Rangemaster in which to cook up some memorable family meals; a family games room with tv, table football and comfortable seating; a large sitting room offering a stunning triple aspect terrace and stunning sea views where you can lounge on the comfortable outdoor sofas. This floor also has a utility room with wc, washer and dryer and a double bedroom.



    2nd Floor

    The second floor has a king bedroom and 2 further triple rooms as well as two bathrooms, one with rainfall shower enclosure and freestanding bath the other with a bath and shower over.



    OUTSIDE

    The Terrance offers plenty of space for outside dining or just to soak up the coastal views.



    (Please note the gardens are not available for use for guests of the Upper Apartment)



    To side of the property there is parking for 2 cars.



    WHEN BOOKING GARDEN APARTMENT ALONGSIDE THE UPPER APARTMENT, THE TWO UNITS CAN COMFORTABLY ACCOMMODATE UP TO 20 GUESTS. THE GARDEN APARTMENT MIRRORS THE SAME LAYOUT, ENSURING A SPACIOUS EXPERIENCE FOR ALL GUESTS.

    PLEASE NOTE:



    Guests can choose to either pay a non-refundable damage waiver of £100 or provide a pre-authorised security deposit of £500 before check-in.

    If the security deposit option is selected, no money will be taken unless damage is reported at the property within 7 days after departure.



    There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.

    There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.



    Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels as necessary.

Wonderful place to stay

Everything was clean, comfortable and welcoming. I would highly recommend for families and being on the costal path was a treat. The sea views from the windows was amazing.

Lovely long weekend

We had the most lovely long weekend staying at the stylish upper apartment Old Vicarage in Shanklin. It was even nicer than in the photos and being there actually felt like staying in a five star hotel: massive fluffy towels, high-end bathroom products, plush, springy carpets, and a kitchen with everything you could think of, and all new. There was attention to detail in every room, including USB phone charger plugs next to the beds and electric toothbrush chargers in bathrooms. We spent quite a bit of time on the sun terrace, staring out at the sea and the large landscaped garden. We didn’t mind not having access to the garden but maybe the lower apartment would be better suited to families with younger kids. Coming from London we really noticed the space - big, spacious rooms and stunning views from every window. We’ll definitely be back.

A beautifully restored property in a wonderful location. Very comfortable with great views of Culver and Luccombe. Great for a family gathering. Plenty of space for everyone. As it is a new let, just a few things that would make it even better! Coasters to stop the glass on coffee tables from marking, oven gloves, coffee machine, serving spoons, whisk. Some adult sized coat hangers in single bedded rooms as well as child ones, mirrors in bedroom, hooks on bedroom doors for dressing gown/towels. Please don’t take as a criticism, just some suggestions!
