    The apartment boasts access to a communal garden, which leads down to the sandy shores of Sandown Beach. And with underfloor heating, a fully fitted kitchen, and a comfortable living room, you'll feel right at home from the moment you arrive.



    Whether you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway, or a family seeking a fun-filled adventure, Blue Horizon has everything you need for an unforgettable stay.

    LOCATION:



    There are plenty of attractions to keep all ages entertained long Sandown seafront. The Pier and glorious Sandown Bay are just a short walk down-hill from the property. Voted one of the island’s best beaches, so why not stretch your legs along the miles of golden sand or swim in the cooling water of the English Channel. The nine-mile stretch between Yaverland and Shanklin, with Sandown nestled in the middle, demonstrates the wonders of geology, with red sandstone through to the white chalk of Culver Cliff. On a lucky day, the remains of fossils can also be found! If you crave an active holiday, the bay is hugely popular with water sports and you’ll be sure to see people paddle boarding, surfing, windsurfing and kite surfing or catamaran and dingy sailing; weather dependent.



    A short walk towards Yaverland, you will also find the Wild Heart Animal Sanctuary, famous for its big cats. The sanctuary, formerly the Isle of Wight Zoo, gained further recognition due to the owner’s relationship with the naturalist and TV presenter Chris Packman. Additionally, a perfect distraction for the younger guests is Sandham Gardens, which is only minutes’ walk from the esplanade. With karting, sky nets, crazy golf and a dedicated play area on offer there should be plenty to ensure a good night’s sleep at the end of the day!

    PLEASE NOTE:



    Guests can choose to either pay a non-refundable damage waiver of £35 or provide a pre-authorised security deposit of £150 before check-in.

    If the security deposit option is selected, no money will be taken unless damage is reported at the property within 7 days after departure.



    This property offers a single/double sofa bed, If you would like us to supply linen for its use during your stay, this can be provided at an additional cost of £35, per stay.

    Please do make us aware at the time of booking / in advance of your stay if you require this service, so we can arrange to take payment and have the linen made available.



    There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.

    The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the full management of this property and should you need to contact us during your stay we are available between 9-5 Monday to Friday, We also operate an out of hours emergency service on the weekends - please refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.



    No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties.



    There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.



    Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.



    Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.



    A breach of the above rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

Lovely Sea Views

Great position overlooking the sea. Beds were comfortable and check-in was straightforward. Great onsite parking. Would be helpful to bins in the bathrooms and perhaps in the bedrooms as well. Can imagine it would be very hot in the summer.

We had an excellent stay. The company were very communicative, helpful and on hand for any queries i had. One day we had a leaking boiler and within hours it was sorted. A special Thank you to Hannah who was helpful, professional and nothing was ever too much. We will definitely book again and i would highly recommend them, their service and of course their properties. Thank you team. Everything was perfect.

Fabulous views

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It was also very spacious and comfortable. The view from the living room is incredible and the panoramic sea views make it a wonderful place to spend time relaxing. The gate leading to the cliff path is great for local walks and getting to the beach in ten minutes, so the location is great. Overall it’s a beautiful place and I would highly recommend it. The only thing that could have improved our stay is if the garden belonging to the apartment was fully enclosed and fenced off. (it’s hard to see in the pictures) which made it impossible to keep my dog contained. The area beyond the garden is a communal garden with the other residents, and dogs need to be kept on a lead. So although we had hot weather and had the beautiful bifolding doors we had to keep the doors shut at all times to stop our dog wondering into the communal area. It was frustrating to have to put him on a lead every time I wanted to go and sit outside and he couldnt wonder in and out like he does at home. So for that reason I didn’t find it very dog friendly. I think it’s an easy fix and would have made a big difference to us.
