Newly renovated apartments right in the centre of town. Great restaurants and pubs very close. Car park opposite the apartment but much cheaper option for a longer stay just 50 metres away. Overall a great place to stay if visiting this part of Cumbria. Would recommend Farmers and the Mill for food and drinks

We liked the space that the apartment had and the location of the property. The apartment was very quiet and had all the amenities we needed including the kitchen area. We also liked the garden at the back of the property. We will book again when we come back to Ulverston.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment we stayed in was immaculately clean, really well presented with a well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was spotless, the shower was brilliant! Convenient parking opposite and located in the centre. Great place to visit, with lovely shops, bars, cafes and restaurants round the corner! We would recommend to anyone looking to visit Ulverston.

Great location

Lovely accommodation in central Ulverston. Great base for exploring Ravenglass and Eskdale railway, Tarn Hows, Cartmel races and Ulerston pubs.

As soon as we stepped through the door, it felt like home from home. Clean, modern but with original features. So beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The view from our window, that overlooked the garden, was just lovely. We cannot wait to stay there again.

The location and apartment were great! Unfortunately the beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in - so lumpy and uneven we couldn't sleep for the 2 nights we were there. The sofa bed mattress was so thin you could feel the metal frame all night. The mattresses all need replacing!

Beautiful apartments in the heart of town

Excellent stay at the Lonsdale House apartments, very modern apartments finished to the highest standards. Situated in the heart of town close to numerous bars and restaurants we could not fault our stay with Neil and the team. We will definitely be staying at the Lonsdale again.

The accommodation was very spacious and had everything we needed, eg tea, coffee and milk provided. Bathroom was well equipped with a lovely big shower. The master room was massive and decorated nicely. Overall a great place to stay and in a perfect location as you’re in walking distance to shops, pubs, restaurants and also easy to travel elsewhere via car.

The property was very nice and exceptionally clean. There was a lovely garden out the back, we arrived during heat wave-ish weather so it was nice to sit out in the evening. The rooms were uncomfortably warm at night which was a little expected but there was only one fan so we gave this to the kids in their room… maybe we should have asked for some additional fans but it’s not rocket science that it would be needed. The kitchen accessories were a bit tired, cheap and given we booked for 5 of us and the room said it was up to six people it seemed funny there were only four of everything… only little things really but sometimes they make the difference in your get away… I would say on the whole in current rip off Britain it was a reasonably priced excellently located get away in what is a really lovely town.

I travelled with my daughters, such a beautiful way to end 2024 We had an amazing time, the apartment was beautiful, clean and very elegant! Beds were so comfortable The secret garden was absolutely breathtaking Amazing dining opinions within minutes of walk, parking was very convenient. I loved the holiday so much! I’m looking to visit again in spring Thank you for such an unforgettable experience!

Enjoyable weekend in Ulverston

Exceptionally clean apartment. Well stocked, very modern and comfortable. We were in a ground floor apartment, our only slight disappointment was the poor natural light in the lounge area but did not detract from stay. Well located for central Ulverston and pay and display car park across the road.

Room 2 Coniston, Truly amazing

What can i say, everything was perfect. Upon entering the building using the very clear instructions and getting our key, to entering the room. Room 2 Coniston. It was absolutely spotless, very spacious with a nice homely feel to it. Kitchen area was really good, all the appliances and accessories we needed. Very comfy & large bed. Dog friendly room with a dog bed, bowl, treats and towel. Booked again for November Perfect location, you really are at the centre of the town.

Really enjoyed it and it’s in a good location for pubs and for the bus out. The room was clean, however sofa isn’t comfortable and neither is the bed, leaving no comfort whatsoever which would have been nice when your tired travelling around the lakes. The light from the emergency exit also made it really hard to sleep. The key for the door needs fixing. It took us atleast 5 minutes everytime to get in, I believe the key is twisted but needs replacing. Overall I think it’s worth the money though.
