"A lovely place to stay . The hot tub was amazing the water was lovely and hot . It was very clean , we had everything we needed . The farm dogs were lovely they come to greet us when we got there . The owners are very friendly . The location is stunning , it’s surrounded by fields and there are donkeys , cows nearby which made it really nice . Would highly recommend staying there . Thanks for making it a lovely stay for us ."

"We had a lovely few days in this quaint cottage. There is everything you need and very close to the village pub, where they let us park our car, as not really ideal outside the cottage. Will definitely return if we go back to the Lake Distruct."

"A fantastic base for a great holiday in the lakes. We loved the accommodation and proximity to the steam train ride to Lakeside then the boat ride to Ambleside. We couldn’t have picked a better accommodation, everyone loved it especially the beautiful view out of the window to the river. Very relaxing."

"I arrived after 5pm and had not realised Sykes cottages were dealing with the property. It took me two hours to get in because of email issues and also no one to get hold of after hours from Sykes. This needs looking into. The property itself was well worth the hassle I had been through and I will definitely go back for a second visit. It was clean and very quiet. Only issue was recycling I didn’t know what went where. Maybe a sheet telling you what to do. But apart from this would recommend."

"Tienen el personal mas amable, son muy atentos y agradables. Por supuesto volvería. Tomen enc uenta el ruido del fin de semana, es mucho pero de domingo a jueves es nulo. El lugar es limpio y cómodo, recibes lo que pagas , el servicio es extraordinario."
