"My accommodation was perfect, with everything that I needed and I even had a garage to put my car into. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, and I would love to use this B&B in future. On this occasion I did not have breakfast as I was going out for an early lunch.."

"At check in time of 3pm it was disconcerting to discover the pub was closed with sign on door asking those arriving to ring a mobile number. This we did and someone did appear, promptly, and checked us in explaining that there were electrical issues in the pub but the rooms were unaffected. He confirmed breakfast would still be available and each of our three mornings Kevin arrived and cooked a great breakfast to order. Breakfast was a bit lacking in the extras - not a great choice of cereals...

"Very convenient location, 9mins walk from station and 7mins walk to start of shopping area. Room was pleasant with lovely large bathroom. Clean bedlinen and comfortable bed. Shower was excellent and spacious. Nice to have coffee machine in room. Breakfast was very good and done to order. My only issues were that to access my room i had to use an outdoor fire escape and walk across roof - this was safe and easy to do but not ideal with luggage, nor was it welcoming. I was also a little sceptical when I saw Belle Vue’s exceptionally high rating, but after staying there, I completely understand it. The guest house really was exceptional. The décor was stylish, the bed and furniture were very comfortable, and the location and grounds were lovely. The owner was friendly, accommodating, and flexible, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and felt it offered...
