Very nice place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Food was excellent. It is in a good location for the centre town easily walkable. There is no parking but was able to drop the bags off. Car park nearby and reasonably priced (5minute walk back). Would definitely stay there again.

Super pub close to the town centre with decent hotel rooms in an adjoining building. Breakfast was very good and the staff were all friendly and helpful. There isn’t parking on-site but there is a good and cheap car park less than 10 minutes walk away, as well as limited on-street parking if you’re lucky. I will stay again. Recommended.

Have stayed here many times when visiting to see a show at the Apex 10 minutes walk away Staff are friendly, breakfast is tasty and generous. Beer brewed on the premises is also very good. Hannah is very hard working and ensures a good stay.

This is a fabulous place to stay in Bury St Edmunds - easy to get to the town centre and the station. A very warm welcome, very comfortable, clean and well-equipped room. The bar areas and outside seating are excellent. The menu is inventive and the food very good, as is the array of wines and beers. The breakfast was way beyond expectation - I thought it was just going to be a continental breakfast as described in my booking, but it was way better than that. I really can’t fault this place - I certainly hope to be back there soon.

Old cannon nicely situated on the edge of Bury & easily walkable. B & B has small menu with specials which is just right. Friendly staff & great beer & big seated area out back. Great for bbqs & events. Will differently be back. It will not disappoint.

Lovely place to stay. Great staff. Food is good. Beer is brewed on site, of course, and worth trying a few different ones. So far as the room was concerned, the carpet tiles are looking a little sad and the bed was a little hard, but it was clean and the shower was good.
