"Good stay in a nice quiet bungalow suitable for the family. Communications after booking were good. It would be better if Hotels.com highlighted the hidden fees, if they knew of them. Early check-in/late checkout charges are common place. But fees for towels, bedding and the use of the hot tub in the garden less so. If you want the basics then use this place as it is good value and you don’t mind taking your own stuff with you. If you want the ‘extras’ it’d likely be cheaper to book elsewhere. "

"This property was absolutely wonderful for our family. My husband is from Norwich originally and still has family there. The bedrooms and bathrooms were absolutely spotless, plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is very well stocked and just a fantastic gathering spot. All and all a great was had by everyone! "

"Seven of us age range 6-75 stayed at Gardners Cottage during New Year week. On arrival welcomed by the warmth of the property in the afternoon of the last day of the year. And welcomed even more by the Christmas tree beautifully lit in the dining room.Other lovely festive decorations( including mistletoe ) were still there in the hallway and lounge.The lounge very comfortable but may have benefitted by another light in the winter afternoon and evenings. "Beautifully updated house. A fantastic job was done to retain the character of the home, but update it to modern amenities and comforts. Directions to access the property were clear, making it easy to locate and enter. My only suggestion would be to provide some basic toiletries such as shampoo, soap in the shower, more toilet paper (we had to go purchase toilet paper as there was a small supply provided). "

"Lovely clean house with very comfy beds. Well stocked but lacking a colander for pasta- essential in my book! Only problem was having notification that our property was unlocked whilst we were out and heading into a graduation dinner. My husband then had nearly an hours round trip to walk back and check the property which WAS fully locked (and yes we had ‘ticked the door’) as reminded by property management. It was definitely all closed up- apparently it could have been a delay on their system....
