I was messaged almost every day asking how things were going and if I needed anything. I thought this was a nice touch and even though I didn't need anything, I was confident we would receive a quick response if I had to reach out. The only complaint I had was that one of the bedrooms (first on right at the top of the stairs) didn't have a bed slat at the head, causing the bed to sink and provide an awkward sleeping arrangement. We pulled a slat from the bottom side of the bed and moved it to the top to resolve the issue. Host may want to add another slat to be sure this isn't uncomfortable for anyone else. Overall great place to stay, would have been nice to be able to park in the garage since it snowed a lot while we were there but I can understand the reason it's not allowed.
