When we arrived, we discovered that the sheets in the master bedroom had clearly not been changed. We stripped the bed and washed them ourselves. The manager did let us know where an extra set was located but we just slept in another bed. The next day they sent someone to change them.Unfortunately, the mattress in the master bedroom was in poor condition. It had deep body impressions on the right side, and there was a firm area underneath that pressed upward, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. I ended up sleeping in the twin bed downstairs in the basement, which clearly had a much newer and more supportive mattress.Sleep quality is often overlooked in vacation rentals, yet it significantly impacts the overall experience. I work in sleep medicine, so I may be particularly sensitive to this — but I share this feedback in hopes it will be helpful for management and future guests alike.I would also suggest replacing the cool light bulbs with warm LED lighting to create a more inviting and relaxing atmosphere.It was also disappointing not to have a place to park in the driveway which remained empty throughout our stay.This was our second time renting this particular home last time we were permitted to park in the driveway.TakeOn a positive note, the location is a 10/10. I also appreciated the higher-quality soaps, particularly Grown Alchemist — a lovely touch.
