Mountainside stay Telluride Film Festival

The loft is very nice with a king size bed and luxury bath but it has very little privacy in that anyone coming in late may disturb those in the loft either turning on a light or any noise same with early risers may be a disturbance It has a nice location on the river and a nice deck with hot tub but we were there to watch movies and never used the hot tub But there were several things that diminished the overall quality of the experience I spent over $16,000 for 9 nights in this condo and almost $15,000 of that was for the 7 nights for the week of film fest. I say this not to complain about price because the film fest has become extremely popular and it is what it is I bring this up to illustrate this is not Motel 6 and when you pay that much you expect a certain level For instance: there are 3 bathrooms in this condo and when we arrived there were a total of 4 rolls of toilet paper. Total. Now, the office is open during regular business hours and all you have to do go over and ask for more toilet paper but I would much prefer that it were stocked when we arrived. Seem reasonable? Same with paper towels. The refrigerator looks like something out of a 90s independent film with no ice maker. No ice maker! Instead they provided 1 (1!) 8 inch plastic ice tray. I had to take time to go to the grocery store and spend money on 2 normal size ice trays so we could have cold drinks. Really? No internet for 36 hours! There's more I've run out of space.

Great location and stay--a few suggestions.

A great in town location close to the gondola and even closer to galloping goose stop. Having the private hot tub, private laundry, and plenty of space was perfect for our two family ski strip (with 5 kids in tow). The fireplace works really well and so easy to switch on and off. My only complaints/suggestions would be-- 1. hot tub specific towels would be nice 2. better hand soap throughout the unit. Little hotel size bar soaps really don't suffice for a week stay for that many people 3. My biggest issue--serious lack of window coverings in the first floor queen bedroom. The street lights at the office shine right into the bedroom and for being in a small town it felt more like big city lights. We tried to cover with some extra pillows but it was still very bright. Overall a great stay and I would stay again--especially if new window treatments go up!

Great location

Great patio and lovely location to listen to the river from your room, the fireplace, or on the deck. We loved walking everywhere from this condo - the layout was also perfect to accommodate our large family. Will definitely book here again.

Not Pleased

We originally booked this property because of the hot tub. I wasn’t placed into a new house until under 24rs of our stay. The place that they put us up in didn’t have a hot tub. We were told that there was a shuttle that could take us to an offsite one. When I inquired about the shuttle they told me there was no shuttle. The property they put us up in was great and we enjoyed our stay but as a skier that is number one thing I look forward to after being on the mountain
