This is a wonderful property that is everything it says on the listing and more. It's a well maintained and welcoming property in a perfect location in Telluride. The amenities are perfect and support a relaxing atmosphere in the home. The kitchen is superb and well stocked with everything you need. The local team is responsive and helpful on a moment's notice. We would happily return here anytime we are in the area.

Fabulous location for a town-centric Telluride stay!

We had a terrific experience staying at Racer’s Roost. We are a family of four with two adult children (18 & 22) who enjoy cooking, eating out, skiing, yoga, and generally being active outside. The Roost is ideally suited for a family where everyone is active but not everyone skis as the town and Telluride’s cross country facility keeps the non-skiers healthy and happy. For nights in, the kitchen is very well appointed for a family that enjoys cooking, better than most VRBOs in our experience, For nights out, our favorite restaurants were a short walk away. The rooms are all very comfortable and clean, the bathrooms upstairs have steam showers and bathtubs, the outdoor hot-tub was very clean and very welcomed after a full day’s activities. Certainly recommend this VRBO!

Perfect home and location for your ski vacation

The beautiful home was perfect for 3 couples to live and dine comfortable together. The location was very close to the gondola and historic downtown. Being able to walk everywhere for dining and shopping is priceless. The charm of the town is unparalleled. We already reserved our week for next year.

Perfect Location

During our recent stay in Telluride, we wanted to just relax without any hard and fast plans so I picked a location in town so that we could walk to dinner or shops. I hadn’t been in Telluride before so wasn’t 100% sure what the “getting around” would look like. It was the BEST location. 3 minute walks to dinner and shops, super easy. While it was just my husband and myself, the property had 3 bedrooms complete with their own full-size bathrooms so would be great for multiple couples or a bigger family. The bed was comfy plus plenty of pillows made for a great night’s sleep. The hot tub on the little 2nd floor deck was visited most nights. It was good and hot and very clean (some aren’t, as you know) and the line of trees separating the property provided a decent level of privacy. The kitchen was well-stocked and even had a good assortment of wine glasses (wine store just down the street too). I only wish they’d had a Keurig instead of just a regular drip coffee maker. They’re just so much easier to get the flavor you want without having to make a whole pot. Gas fireplace in the family room made it easy to take the chill off. Property Management group did very well with communicating with me prior to and during our stay. This home was perfect for our stay, would highly recommend.

Easy walk to lift and town

House is very nice and within 2 blocks of grocery store. Definitely recommend. Back unit is under construction so no parking at unit but rather on the street.

Telluride Winter Fun

This property is simply superb. Quality furnishings, lots of room, well equipped, perfect location in the town of Teluride. Host was amazing. Walk to gondola or resteraunts. Perfect family friendly property with games and hot tub... It was a memorable stay.

Absolutely Amazing!!

Fantastic stay. Wonderful house with awesome location to lifts and town. 6 adults were very comfortable. Everything in the unit is first class. Super easy checking in and out. WiFi really strong. Multiple users worked very efficently at the same time. There REALLY is no need for a car either if you have transportation from airport.

Perfect home for ski getaway

We loved “Racers Roost!” Perfect location — within easy walking distance of gondola, restaurants, shopping, and groceries. The property was clean, well-maintained, and everything in working condition. Communication before arrival, during our stay, and at departure was clear and helpful. Would definitely return.

Great home in a great location

This property was perfect for our party of 5 adults. Clean and comfortable. Short walk to the Gondola (even with skis) and to downtown. Clarks Market was also only a few blocks the other direction. I loved all the natural light throughout the home. Convenient back porch to store our skis. The property manager, Peter Loomis helped coordinate the grocery delivery so all our food was already in the kitchen when we arrived. Overall excellent customer service from Peter and Pam Specker.

Great home

Property was as advertised, great location with short walk to gondola, city market and restaurants. Family of 4 ages 21 to 62, we did not rent a car but used Telluride Express as recommended by management (Pam and Peter) of Telluride Vacation Rentals. I was leery abt not having a car but one was never needed. We never even rode the free town bus. Peter greeted us at the property for information and to be sure everything was in working order. Pam was very helpful getting by recommending the Telluride card which made lift tickets easy. Dont often get that level of svc. Great experience, home was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Heated floors are very nice touch.

Perfect Location

We were close to the gondola but not close enough to hear it inside the house. We were close to the grocery store and our favorite restaurants. We were close to the lifts and the river walk. Great spot!!! The house itself was very comfortable and luxurious!

Fabulous October getaway!

This was a perfect home for the right reasons - to get away from the heat and humidity of Texas, to see Fall and the mountains and stars at night, to get away from the hustle of normal life, and yet still have Internet access for our teenagers to do online school. Every detail of this beautiful home was perfect, from soft sheets to amenities to a well-stocked kitchen and beyond. We could spread out and yet still feel connected in this lovely home. Perfect location in town just 1-3 minute walk from everything, yet on a quiet street. Thank you!

Perfection

Racers Roost was perfection for our young family. Proximity to the parks, market, restaurants, downtown and the Mountain Village gondolas made our stay in Telluride so much more enjoyable. Peter and Pam were welcoming and helpful from Day 1 of our reservation and day 1 of our arrival in Telluride. Can’t wait to come back.
