Great Home, great location, great owner. As I rented this home to accommodate four generations, it is imperative to make sure the elevator is working. 4 stories to navigate otherwise, and for us city folks that reside at sea level, and for our older family members, this was partially why we rented home - and this elevator was inoperable. A few other issues such as toilets and hot tub, but unlike the city, finding help in the mountains is a chore. If the home is firing on cylinders with no issues, this rental is an A. In our case, I would score it a c considering cost to rent for the holidays.

A stunning home and location. So close to town and nature trails - very walkable. Stay was with our family of five, hiking, walking into town for dinner, playing games, a bit of 4wd trails, sitting outside on the porches or in the hot tub looking up at the mountains towering above us. A great place to get away from the summer heat at home. Will come again!

Family Ski Trip

This house was perfect for our family with 7 adults and 2 young kids. The views were spectacular and it was super easy to catch the shuttle to the gondola base. It had everything we needed to be able to relax together in communal space but everyone had their own space too. Michael was super communicative and checked in multiple times to make sure we had all of our questions answered. We are already talking about booking it again next year!

Spectacular Location

If I could give a property a 10 for location instead of the max of 5, I would do it for this home. The end of the box canyon of Telluride is breathtaking, and this home has amazing views from everywhere. Words can't describe the location of this home. Michael the owner was response and gracious and quickly answered any questions we had. Highly recommend this home!

Fantastic Family Vacation Home

Three families on vacation with kids and dogs were easily at home in this great VRBO. So much better than described! Very well equipped, needed nothing. Very convenient to town and all things to do in Telluride without a car and close to the four-wheel drive and hiking trails we came to enjoy though this place was so nice you may never want to leave. We will definitely be back!

Pretty much perfect

The property was just about as close to perfect as you could ask for. The location was amazing, an easy walk into town. The house was big but didn’t lack intimacy. The master closet was as big as my sons bedroom at home; you could easily put kid(s) in there on an air mattress (no curtains though). We put our boys in the office space which is attached to the master bedroom but has sliding doors. It was perfect for them. The property comes with like four air mattresses so there’s a lot of flexibility. The kitchen was decently stocked and the two dishwashers were clutch. Communication with Mike couldn’t have been easier; he was out of the country while we stayed and I was still easily able to reach him. One note if you’re traveling in winter: you should absolutely get a 4 wheel drive vehicle or you’ll never get up the driveway, even if it’s plowed. Before we left we shipped a bunch of stuff to the house. We got nervous because the address wasn’t populating and UPS couldn’t pull it up in their system. We forced it through anyway and crossed our fingers, everything arrived just fine. Highly recommend!!

Incredible Home in Perfect Location

We had a fantastic 5 nights at Mike’s home. The house was very clean and has every amenity you can ask for. The location is 2nd to none in my opinion, a short walk or drive to town and easy access to world class hiking. We will look forward to our next visit to Telluride.

Christmas with multi-generational family group

We stayed in this beautiful house over Christmas week and it exceeded all our expectations! Mike the owner was very helpful with anything we needed, and the house itself was amazing. The view is simply the most beautiful in the area, and the house feels remote even though it is a very convenient .2 miles from downtown Telluride. We had a 4wheel drive vehicle and had no trouble getting up the inclined private road to the house even when it snowed significantly, and the neighborhood roads are plowed daily. Our group consisted of both skiers and loungers and this house was perfect for both. It was very spacious and our group of 11 was so comfortable, though it should be noted that there are only 5 beds so 2 of the "kids" slept on futons or couches in the theater. The well-equipped kitchen, large hot tub, the theater room with Netflix, Apple TV, etc, the great room/kitchen with the roaring fire and magnificent views of Bridal Veil cannot be overstated. Thank you for a magical holiday, we will be back!!

A Great Experience

We had a multi family gathering during Thanksgiving. Everyone had a great experience at this home. The accuracy of this listing is spot on. Communication with Michael was easy and he makes himself available for communication. This was appreciated. The house is very comfortable and easy for entertaining. As hosts Michael and his family have thought of everything a guest may need so all you need to pack is your gear and food/drink. They have everything else! Thank you for having us. We hope to return one day soon!
