We have replaced a lot of our queen bed mattresses this year and plan to continue replacing beds as we see fit. Please let us know which room you stayed in and we would be happy to evaluate the bed and make a purchase to replace the bed if need be. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed in the lack of restaurant or shopping options during the time of your visit. You chose to visit during the "Off-Season" (between mid-October and late November). During this time, many businesses decide to close, take care of maintenance projects, or take advantage of some much-needed rest before the busy winter season. If you choose to stay during the off-season, we recommend bringing food to prepare in our kitchenettes and take advantage of the peace and quiet. We are sorry you were not aware of the "off-season," but please give us a call next time before reserving so that we can inform you of what is open.

Our staff offered you a significant discount to upgrade your room so that we could best accommodate you and your party. We truly care about our guests and their experience while staying with us, but we cannot control the room type they reserve online via an online travel agency like Hotels.com or Expedia.com. For this reason, we encourage guests to call us directly so that we can make sure we reserve them the most suitable room for their needs. It turns out that the Studio Loft unit you had originally booked, which had a steep 10-foot ladder, is actually one of our most sought-after rental units and is highly favored by those who are familiar with it. We are sorry to hear that this was not the case for you and that you had a mediocre experience while staying with us. We hope to improve and do better next time!

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that the temperature in your room was not comfortable during your stay. We, unfortunately, do not have air conditioning in any of our units and have never needed it. However, as our summers have gotten warmer, we are looking into the possibility of adding AC units to our accommodations if it becomes feasible. There are usually only 1-2 weeks that are hot enough to need AC, and we are sorry that you happened to be here during one of those weeks. Next time, we hope to offer you a more comfortable stay.
