We booked through Expedia with the intent that breakfast was included per room. We booked 3 rooms, 2 guest per room. Confirmation explicitly stated breakfast included with the rooms. Upon checking in, we were notified my 16 year does not have breakfast included, yet my 18 year does. Even after I showed them the confirmation in writing, they did not honour the deal. Because of this poor decision, we are now reluctant to book through Expedia and even more disappointed that no not stepped up rectify the problem. So 5 out of 6 of us got breakfast, and we had to pay addition for my 16 year old.
At the end of the day, no one took ownership of this error and accused the other of not doing anything about it. This is extremely disappointing and such poor customer service. We have used Expedia for many of our vacations and Hilton chains, this was so ridiculous. If you offer a package to include breakfast, have it in your confirmation email, no where did it state not included for minors, you should follow through! Very disappointed and very misleading!
