"We left this stay very disappointed, with serious safety concerns as a family with children. During our stay, a low window pane at child height broke when accidentally knocked and shattered into large, sharp, jagged pieces. It did not appear to be safety glass and, in my view, posed a real risk of serious injury to a child. This was especially concerning in a family holiday property, which also appeared to lack basic visible safety features despite having a wood burner, including no smoke alarms...

"We loved this chalet! It was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a family vacation in Wengen. We loved having a washer and dryer as we were traveling with 3 children. The views were breathtaking. It was a wonderful adventure to learn what it is like to live in the alpine area with no car access. The town had everything we needed. "It’s a nice house. What everyone should know is that it requires 50 plus steps to get to it while carrying your suitcases and navigating around sheep poop with no lights at night and sheep all around. Better to arrive during the day and better directions would be to go around and back of the garbage dumpsters and climb the hill. "We loved this charming, beautiful chalet. The views are great, the spaces are well set up and comfortable. We loved the picnic table on the patio for lunch and the sun porch for breakfast. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well-stocked with pans and utensils. The painted woodwork was delightful. The location just outside of Grindelwald was perfect for hiking and other adventures. Cascia, our host, was friendly and responsive. We would return!"
