"The chalet has the most amazing views of Lake Brienz. The house is very spacious; our family was able to all have our own space. There are three levels with bedroom down from main floor and two bedrooms up from the main floor. Loved the balcony off the upstairs bedrooms.Highly recommend!"

"Its a cozy place, tucked away from the touristy Interlaken but just a 10 min bus ride from Ost, so best of both worlds. The view of the lake is spectacular and we spent every morning and evening on the deck. The only issue we faced was with the bathroom on the 1st floor, which is a bit snug. Juliet is responsive and very helpful and I'd stay there again if we ever decide to be back"

Each morning and evening, we could hear cow bells from the surrounding farms, and the view from the back porch over the hills was stunning. Habkern is a more rural option than others many tourists go to but it was a great base for us to use because we went to many different areas around the Jungfrau region. "This location was just perfect - the view alone would have sold us, but the house also was very clean, and was located right across from the bus stop. Xiufen was extremely responsive and set us up on advance with the Panorama pass which makes most bus trips free, and gives discounts on some attractions. Suggest to take train to Thun and bus to the location. Close to a walking suspension bridge and nice trail, also close to an extensive cave system worth visiting. "

"Overall the house was great. It was clean and the view was gorgeous. The reason we did not give 5 stars is because we were told to only take 5 min showers to ensure we had enough hot water. The kitchen was really too small for us to cook in as only one person can be on at a time. In addition, we were in a very large car and did not understand from any of the information given what the drives on the road to and from the house would be like."
