great vaca

House was updated and very cute, great location and quick walk through parking lot to the beach. We arrived late and ended up having to change the sheets on one of the beds because they weren't clean. Towels could be refreshed, but other than that it was a very nice place to stay and we enjoyed it.

The Best stay

This was our first time staying at Saint Augustine Beach. We usually stay at the historic town. We will always book here for our upcoming visits from now on! It was perfect being at the beach with all the restaurants, shopping, mini golf and little shops within a very short distance, the cottage was decorated beautifully. The beds were comfortable. It had everything we needed, closet full of games, nice size TV it was perfect for our family. We will book and stay here, many more times.

Perfect spot!

We all loved everything about this rental cottage. It was such a close walk to the beautiful beach, near so many things to do and places to eat, the salt water pool was wonderful and the cottage was clean, cozy, safe, quit and charming. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Quick Trip to the Beach

This house was perfect for our quick trip to the beach over spring break. We rented bikes from Drifters too and cruised all over Saint Augustine Beach. Lovely few days in Florida!

May Vacation

The rental was as described very nice with some recent updates. It's located in a quiet area with an easy walk to the beach. Parking was great two spots located right outside the door. I would recommend for a couple or smaller family just looking to relax like we did.

Surf Crest Village is a perfect setting for a stand alone dwelling, yet having condo type amenities like a pool, private boardwalk to the beach We will return

Good location, property smells horrible of cigarette smoke

Overall this property is as described. Short walk to the pool and private beach access. The property itself smells so bad of stale cigarette smoke all of my belongings smell so bad now. The floors were so dirty I had to was the kids feet before bed. The sofa is old, stained and needs to be replace. The owners need to trash all the furniture and linens, paint the interior walls and start over fresh. That cig smell is horrible.

Great experience

Access to beach and clean cottage was really fantastic. Also had fully stocked kitchen and towels, etc. Only thing that would have been helpful is a blow dryer, which is not a big deal. Overall really enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect place for a short stay in the St. Aug’s area. Cozy, but just right for 3 of us and our dog. Furniture, beds, decor all modern and new. Beds were especially comfy. Beach access was key to our selection of this cottage. The beach was a short two minute walk. Nice clean wide beach. I think our dog loved it even more than we did. Neighbors were very friendly and the pool was a great place to chill in the afternoon. Would have liked better furniture on the porch. Only two chairs were available. The others were broken. Some cottages in the development had nice wood decks. Perhaps the owners would consider adding one here. The historic town of St. Augustine is a short drive and the main attraction here. It is stunning and should not be missed.

Mostly Good

The decor drew us in - lovely and tasteful with fresh colors. What we did not expect was the strong smell of dogs upon opening the front door. We tried everything to eliminate the smell (air conditioner running full time, doors to the outside propped open, etc.) but nothing worked. Yes, the write-up did say that pets are allowed, but we assumed that cleaning would take care of things. Nope...the rugs and floors were very dirty. Otherwise, the location was walking distance to the beach, and about five miles to St. Augustine. Many good restaurants close by.

Cute, clean, and perfect for our stay!

The home was just perfect for us. We loved the decor and the cleanliness of the home - everything was new and well done. The proximity to the beach was ideal for our group as well. We couldn't have been happier! Can't wait to rent the house again next year!
