We absolutely loved this cottage — our stay was truly wonderful. From the charming front porch to the open‑concept living area, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked with all the utensils you’d need to cook any meal, which made our time here even more enjoyable. There was even a bag of ice in the freezer. The beachy décor created such a warm, inviting atmosphere. The bedrooms were adorable and included thoughtful touches like Kleenex on the bedside tables. There were plenty of cozy blankets for the cooler nights. The queen bed was very comfortable, and while the king bed was a bit firm, it actually worked well for the couple in our group who prefer extra support due to back issues. The bathrooms were well stocked with cotton balls, makeup remover cloth, liquid body soap and shampoo/conditioner, which was a really nice touch.We had a fantastic stay and would happily return.

Beautiful, spacious, well-appointed home in a great location, within walking distance to the historic district. The pictures absolutely reflect how lovely and pristine this property is. The host was super responsive and helpful with all of our questions. We would 100% come here again.

The host Meredith answered any questions we had prior to us arriving quickly and was wonderful to deal with. All amenities were in great shape and the place was immaculate. The location was fantastic on a tree lined street fifteen minute walk from town. We live only thirty minutes away and look forward to staying at the Hoffmann house again. Exceeded expectations!!

Girls Trips 2025, Dec. it was fantastic. What we needed was there. Plenty of towels, wash clothes. It was great. Don’t understand if there is a cleaning fee, why did we have to put the towels to wash and dry and strip the bed.

My friend and I spent a weekend in Saint Augustine and this was the perfect place for us to spend two nights. We walked everywhere. It was very conveniently located and the house had everything we needed, include beach towels, and beach chairs.

Misleading!

Have you ever been in a situation where you felt uneasy and scared? Well, that's how me and my elderly sisters felt when we pulled up to this so called charming cottage. It was dark and deserted looking on the street. I'll share pictures of the house and neighboring houses to show you what I mean. Immediately, I called the owner and explained to her that we didn't feel comfortable getting out of our car much less going in the house. She talked me into going in because she said it was a beautiful place. We went in but didn't feel the same way about her rental. We called back to say we were not going to stay there and she told us to contact VRBO to get our money back. VRBO informed me that the owner made the ultimate decision on getting my money back. She decided I didn't get anything back. I was even charged a cleaning fee and we never stayed at the house. Let this be a warning...if you rent a place and are scared to stay there the owner can keep your money. My advice... stay away from this one. See attached photos.

Great House with a Great Location

Two couples spent a long weekend together and had a fantastic time. This house is conveniently located close to downtown and we also enjoy walking around the Linconville neighborhood. You can walk and you can also ride bikes to the state park and beach. The house was the best stocked house we ever rented which was very gracious of the homeowners. In addition, it was extremely clean. This house is definitely recommended. The best food was at the Raintree restaurant.

Martin Luther King Drive Cottage

Everything was just as advertised. Very clean, bright cottage, quite well equipped, roomy interior, lots of space in rear yard. The cottage is a very short drive from all the downtown St. Augustine activities and sights. Real history in Lincolnville.
