"We were four couple and two kids, here for a week, for a family reunion and wedding. The bedroom in the basement had private bath, walkout doors, perfect for our bride and groom. Two bedrooms on main floor had private baths. Two bedrooms with lots of beds shared a bath upstairs (great for a family with kids). "The cabin was very clean and had lots of historic character. There were lots of steps so it might be harder for elders to not trip. The hot tub was great. It would be nice to have instructions for the fireplace if it's useable. Maybe I just missed them. Overall it was a great place and a quiet neighborhoid."

"We were thoroughly pleased with our stay. The beds and linens were comfortable. The location was super convenient to town, restaurants and shops. The back deck is welcoming with ample seating in the sun or shade and a nice gas BBQ, should you choose to cook. Many thanks to our host!"

"Location was just as described. As we looked around, the same word came to all of us, rustic. That's a good thing too! Very clean and a bit funky too, and that's a good thing! You can tell where they built additions to the house and the added rooms made for a comfortable stay for the 5 of us. We were there in the early summer and spent very comfortable evenings on the deck. We'd return in a heartbeat. Great value if you need a place in Twain Harte!"

"Great visit and property. A communication with owner. Clean, well-appointed, comfortable bed and my sons loved the foosball. Outstanding view from the deck, morning sun and good sun throughout the day on the east facing deck.Never seen so many deer on a single property and many of them very docile and not easily spooked.
