Spacious cabin than I expected! With the sofa bed downstair, twin beds in the loft and a king bedroom, easily fit 2 small families. Decent price and fairly close to dodge ridge. We also had fun with a classic Nintendo console. Haven’t played those for decades!!

The cabin was very clean, and everything was all set for our stay. Very impressed with the care they’ve taken in keeping everything well appointed. The site is a little cramped with other cabins very nearby, so it’s more of a subdivision feel rather than a cabin, but for the purpose of our trip it was perfect despite that.

Cozy and comfortable! First evening we had a large black bear come up to the deck and this was a nice surprise! We have keepsake photos of his departure. Our walk was postponed the first evening.

The Cozy Cottage was perfect! The mix of comfort and cabin. The wifi was perfect for remote work. Long Barn was quiet and beautiful. The host responded quickly to my inquiries. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had everything I needed to bake cookies. Would definitely stay agai

The cabin was cozy and picked up I’m not sure folks had stayed there recently. The cabinets in the kitchen had a thick layer of dust and one of the chairs - cute was very dirty. Most of the VRBOS I have stayed in have available spices for cooking, but there is nothing available at this location. The owners were polite and responsive. The home is convenient and close to Pinecrest and other outdoor venues. Great for a short stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Cosy Cottage in Longbarn with our family of five. The host was exceptional at communicating - they provided clear directions, check-in instructions, and were quick to respond to any questions we had about the property. The cottage was perfectly sized for our family and very comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved the Nintendo system, which kept them entertained during downtime. The location was ideal for our mountain activities - super convenient to both Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, making it easy to enjoy both summer and winter recreation. The property was spotlessly clean and truly lived up to its "cosy" name. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking family meals. Having a functional kitchen saved us money on dining out and allowed us to enjoy home-cooked meals together. Overall, this cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable mountain getaway. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other families looking for a convenient, well-maintained home base for exploring the area.

Cute place, nicely decorated and uncluttered. Very clean. My colleague and I were using this as a working retreat but the Wifi is slow and the only way to prevent netflix from freezing was to have both our laptops closed. Small things missing ie no hand soap in the kitchen, no kleenex/tissue anywhere to be found, no trash bag in kitchen waste basket (didn't realize until after we put garbage in it and then had to transfer into the single bag we found under the sink). The gas stove first burner dial is a safety hazard. All markings have been rubbed off and it freely spins/turns around. We thought it was off indicated by the worn F left on the dial. Kept smelling gas. We lit the back burner which automatically lit the front left one, which meant it was still putting out gas. Turned knob about an inch past the F for the flame to go out. We had to open windows and doors to vent. Knob/stove should be replaced. My colleague needs to be near a bathroom during the night so she slept on the couch since there isn't one upstairs. Steps going upstairs are very shallow, a but precarious going up and down. Sitting in the living room on the couch, we had to reposition the tv stand so we could view from the couch. To solve this problem, mount it to wall with the ability to pull it out and swivel or mount above the fireplace. The bed upstairs was comfortable. Because of the issues mentioned, we'll try a different place next time. Communication was great though and no issues getting the key.

House is small but nice.

You can tell a lot of love has gone into it. Big kitchen with gas stove. Room for 2-3 working the kitchen at one time. I guess my only complaint is we had a hard time getting into the driveway with 2 feet of snow and icy conditions. I would definitely recommend it.

Cozy Cabin in Long Barn

We had a very nice stay. Great location not far off the 108 in Long Barn. Beautiful setting, friendly people and great weather. The cabin is great, cozy, nothing fancy but it’s exactly what we needed. Perfect for families with young kids!

We loved our stay at this cottage. It was very cozy and perfect for our family of 4. If you are looking to get away and enjoy snow, I would highly recommend this place The owner is super responsive and nice. Our kids loved the loft and their beds.
