"Lovely house! We had a ton of snow and it was difficult to get to the property. Luckily we had 4W drive, which is a must. The only thing lacking was coffee mugs. There were 5 which is inadequate for a house that sleeps 20, but otherwise it was well equipped and comfortable."

"Black Bear Lodge was a great location for a reunion of friends and family that have been skiing together for nearly forty years. We love Snowshoe and the lodge was exceptionally convenient to Cupp Run. We had 14 adults and two children and we were all comfortable. "The property and location were great for day and night skiing at Silver Creek. Catching the free campus bus around the mountain was a piece of cake from this location. couldn't have been much easier. The bunk bed room in the basement was a huge hit with the children and the place was excellent for multiple families to hang out and enjoy their time on the mountain. This is a really cool spot with everything you need to have a comfortable stay."

"Me and a group of friends rented this place out for spring break and it was amazing. The house was super clean upon arrival and included many amenities. The house is also located about a 2 minute walk to the ski slope which was a huge plus. Also you can’t beat the view of the sunset on the front porch. The owner Phil is super friendly and easy to get in contact with if needed. Me and my friends will definitely be planning a trip back up here soon."

"My family enjoyed the stay. The first bed room is very good size. The 2nd one is bit small, no closet. It is very clean. We stayed there comfortably. It may need few more pieces of eating utensils. We stayed the first week of March. The snow was melting. It was good to have a swimming pool and hot tub."
