Welcome to Leatherbark 107A, an ideal home base for your mountain adventures. For those seeking the utmost in luxury and comfort, this is the perfect property for a truly indulgent and spacious stay!
Positioned in the Leatherbark community, this luxurious property offers finishing touches and premier amenities that are hard to find. Whether you come to Snowshoe to enjoy the slopes or to explore the summer trails, Leatherbark 107A offers an ideal combination of comfort, style, and convenience.
The open-concept kitchen, with seating for four at the island, creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are making a snack, a gourmet meal, or anything in between, the fully-equipped kitchen includes quartz countertops, an oven with an air fryer, and modern kitchen cabinets. The coffee bar with a drip-style coffee maker and Keurig is the perfect way to start your mornings while looking out into the trees outside.
The dining area, with ample seating for six people, is a welcoming space for you and your group to enjoy your meals while discussing your activities on the mountain. And, if the weather supports it, spend time on the spacious deck enjoying the serenity of nature and the fresh mountain air.
With three bedrooms, this townhome is perfect for an extended family vacation. The first bedroom has a king bed with an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two queen beds, a cozy electric fireplace, and an en suite bathroom. There's additional sleeping capacity in the third bedroom with full extra long bunk beds (54" x 80"). Each bunk bed can accommodate 1-2 people.
The property is a short walk to the Ballhooter lift (approximately 350 yards), and there is a shuttle stop in front of the Leatherbark community. From there, Guests can shuttle to the entrance of the Western Territory, Village, Top of the World, or Silver Creek, depending on where you want to ski.

THE RESORT:
At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find activities and adventures to keep all your family members happy. ● Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and five terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, consider the many other activities available such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, off road RZR tours, snowmobile tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, to name a few. ● Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing on the sandy beach by Shavers Lake, etc.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- This property is located on the lower level and requires that you take one flight of stairs to reach it. - This property does not have central A/C. Portable A/C units are only available during the summer months. - Please be courteous and considerate of the other guests and abide by the quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. - Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties in the condo. - If you need additional accommodations, please ask me about my other properties on the Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee anything earlier than a 5:00 PM check-in.
LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible. If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if this or any of our other properties is available.
PARKING: Free parking is provided on site for up to two vehicles.

Perfect home away from home
This property is the ideal location & size, with all the amenities of home. Easy walk to the shuttle stop, Wildcat grocery store, and really could even walk to the village. The unit is update/renovated, clean, with plenty of towels and a well-stocked kitchen. Property management communicated well - very quickly and kindly! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!
