Perfect place to stay in Savannah! Loved the exposed brick and overall feel of the one bedroom apartment. We walked everywhere and it was lovely. Very close to Mercer House and Forsyth Park. We hope to return soon.

Tree Top is really cute, however, as we climbed the stairs the first thing we saw was a door hanging off of the den credenza with the hinges sitting on top of the credenza, a feather duster on a chair in the den, a missing painting with the hooks still on the wall and it is pictured in the photos, a broken clothes rack, no wine glasses and it smelled moldy. When I sat on the bed it squeaked and was so soft. My first night sleep was awful because every time I turned over or my husband did it squeaked so loud it woke me up. I used ear plugs the other nights which helped but still pretty bad. The bed frame needs to be replaced. I contacted the management company who did bring a new clothes rack the next day, wine glasses, room spray and WD-40 to spray the squeaky bed. They said they would have someone come fix the door while we were gone, which did not happen. My husband was able to stick the door to a magnet on the furniture just so we did not have to look at a broken door while we were there. It was not a fix, it was a temporary thing. So I told them to fix after we left. The unit is in a great location and we loved the way it was decorated. We were not happy with the fact that the management company had not checked out all of these things before we arrived. We did appreciate the management company trying to make things right and their quick responses.

This was the perfect place for us to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. Great location, walking distance to just about every place we wanted to go. Sourhern Belle checked on us before, during, and after our stay. We didnt want for anything. 100% recommend staying with Southern Belle. Parking is different than what we are used to. Look for kiosk parking and make sure to read the correct signs for street sweeping. Also, the pool is in Tybee, not connected to the property.

Cute and Cozy

Tree Top at Gordon Inn was very clean, cozy, and accommodating. The location was wonderful and within a great, walkable area on Catham Square. Property managers communicated within a timely manner and were always kind. Do be prepared, though, to carry luggage up three flights of stairs as the Inn is an older apartment building.

Cute southern brownstone

Very cute place. Perfect for the long weekend visit for a dance competition. The only challenge was related to the stairs with luggage. We did not anticipate the third set of stairs when we selected the location. But during the stay, it was perfectly fine.

Love this property and location!!

We enjoyed our time at Tree Top and were very pleased with the comfort and aesthetic of the property. Loved the historic charm - exposed brick, beautiful chandeliers, high ceilings and tasteful decor. Couldn’t ask for a better location!! Loved walking out the front door and being greeted by beautiful Chatham Square. This location is close enough to walk everywhere yet far enough to enjoy the quiet and calm this area evokes.

Memories

Thank you for your hospitality. Savannah was my husband's favorite place to visit. This trip was to show my youngest daughter a place he loved, in his honor. We had been coming to Savannah for over 25 years together and it kept pulling us back from Washington State. I never thought I would be able to walk the streets of Savannah again without him but I was able to make some new memories. The very first night we walked to Forsyth Park and it was therapeutic for me. It's just 2 blocks away and it's always a beautiful sight to see. We had 4 lovely Spring evenings there and the location of the property is ideal for strolling the brick streets and happening upon one historic home after another. It's a little further away from River Street but still a very nice adventure to walk back and forth because there is so much to see in between. The only struggle we had was with parking. quick must see/dos: buy a famous praline on River Street (and people watch) sit in front of the Forsyth Park Fountain tour a historic home (or 10) pay respects at Bonaventure Cemetery look up at the Tybee Lighthouse and visit the beach take lots of pictures drink sweet tea visit one of the historic forts I hope to return to Savannah again because I intend to keep doing things that he loved and bring him forward with me as I also continue the fight for justice in his case.

We loved the apartment and its location in the city. We were surprised to find that we were on the third floor. But perhaps it was in the literature you sent, and it did not register with me. One thing I was disappointed about was not having any salt and pepper and olive oil or tin foil or Ziploc bags in the kitchen. Other places we've stayed had them for guests. The sitting area furniture and the bed were comfortable. the bathroom was lovely and clean, and we had plenty of towels. We would stay with this host again, but on a lower floor. Pat

Birthday Getaway!

Stayed here for a few day get away celebrating a Christmas birthday! Property was beautiful and very clean. The outdoor patio area was not quite as described, which was disappointing as I really wanted a property with a nice patio area. Not a deal breaker but if you are truly wanting a property to open the door to enjoy an outdoor area for relaxing, this is not the property (accessible via fire door in living room, walking across roof, then down several metal/slick stair cases to an overgrown outdoor patio area that is shared with multiple other properties). Many stairs leading to the place of stay so if you are not good with stairs, this is not the place for you. Overall, beautiful place in a perfect location - walking distance to everywhere!

Sweet Savannah Stay

The apartment was so cute and we loved the area and being so close to Chatham Square! The apartment was beautiful and we didn’t mind the stairs after eating all the yummy food. The property managers were very accommodating and checked in throughout our stay.
