  • Designed by John S. Norris for General Hugh Weedon Mercer, construction of the house began in 1860. Construction was interrupted by the American Civil War, and finally completed around 1868 by the new owner, John Wilder. Loved It!

This property is cute and tucked away even though it’s on a corner! The place was very clean and stocked. The only downfall to this property is during our stay, they are renovating the building across the street and the noise of the construction and the workers taking all the parking spots next to the residence made it difficult to rest as well as park in the mornings. If the construction was not going on, I’d say this was one of my best stays. Super convenient, to all of the historic buildings.

Loud loud loud!

This is a hard review to do..Where to start…the apartment smells musty every time you enter. We paid for an early check-in. The property was not ready. Management company stated there was a miscommunication with cleaning crew. We had to get our luggage to their office in order to secure it. We didn’t have a car. We had to lug our belongings down .7miles along cobblestone sidewalks. Mgt company did not offer any assistance. The owner was using the apartment to do her personal laundry. 2 hrs later, we were given access. This apartment is LOUD ALL HOURS OF THE DAY. Kids running and screaming upstairs, construction crews that start at 7am. This was far from relaxing. The great location of this property was simply not worth the hassles. We should have paid more attention to the other reviews..our bad. We have never left a bad review but we have to be honest.

The Perfect Spot

We could not say enough good things about this property. Extremely clean, and decorated nicely with a Savannah garden feel. Everything we needed was there. Location was perfect for us. Steps away from Forsyth Park. 10 minute walk from downtown and a 20 minute walk to the river. I would highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here and with Lucky Savannah again!

The property was not ready when we checked in and was told there would be a delay and it took a few hours later to get in. There was also a family staying above with small children that ran around all day which was quite annoying due to the noise. The internet was horrible! We enjoyed the location of the unit and Savannah however.

To much noise

Had 3 children and a dog running and barking above us. Had construction starting at 7am till 5pm. Had the air quit on us and had to have Lucky Savannah come out at 10 o’clock at night to fix. I will say this they were prompt in getting someone out to fix. Trying to watch tv at night before bedtime and every 10 minutes the Roku would cut off. Even though the room was clean and looked nice to much noise to be a relaxing vacation. My wife and I did not enjoy this stay. Would not recommend.

Well appointed garden apartment right by Forsyth Park.

Super well appointed garden apartment one block away from Forsyth Park. Short walk to all the touristy areas while the location is in a quiet historic residential district. Has all the amenities if you were to stay longer.

Beautiful/Great location

This very stylish apartment had everything we needed. Was close to a Krogers and easy Uber rides. Beautiful area. The rental company responded almost instantly and was very helpful. The only issue we had was that the people who live above this apartment have children and a dog. The kids were constantly running, jumping & sliding things across the floor. This woke us up in the morning and when we would go back to the apartment to rest before doing our next activity it was not relaxing.
