Very impressed with our stay! The location was ideal— once I parked my car I did not need it for the entire weekend! Access to parking was phenomenal. The house was beautiful, clean & spacious! Anyone looking for a getaway to Savannah should save this place! Loved it.

Hidden Gem in the heart of Savannah

Wow...is all I can say. This house was everything and more. The location is ideal for moving around the town.Everything is in walking distance. Wish I had more time to spend in the house, busy with my daughters wedding. Very relaxing on the patio in the morning having coffee. If I go back to Savannah again I would stay here.

Scattered Friends Trip

4 of us friends who lived in the same town 25years ago and now scattered get together somewhere every year. This home was absolutely perfect for our stay in Savannah…great accommodations for everyone to have their own bedrooms and we don’t mind sharing bathrooms. Perfect location for walking to where we wanted to be or catch shuttles…even with one of us with a bad hip. Just a beautiful quintessential Savannah home. Our only possible suggestion to the owner would to have a foot stool in the 2nd floor master to get into the tall gorgeous bed easier and a mirror in the 3rd floor bedroom just for that guest to get ready easier. Highly recommend staying here!!!

Friends Trip

Parker House was just as destined. It’s centrally located and you can walk any where. The home was beautifully furnished and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The host was readily available to answer any questions and she was very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home if your visiting Savannah.

Thanksgiving with Family

The house is absolutely gorgeous with a very tranquil patio and fountain! Very close to everything in Historical downtown Savannah. We felt like we were home away from home and Donna, the host, answered all of our questions quickly. Would definitely stay here again!!

PERFECT STAY!

Our stay at Live Oaks House was amazing! A quick get together with bestie girlfriends and our Hubbies!! The location is so close to River Street and the Eastern Wharf…yet on a very quiet square!! The weather in Savanah was absolutely perfect to enjoy the spacious deck off the kitchen and the cool garden…we ate every meal alfresco on the deck and happy hours in the garden! The layout of the house was so perfect for privacy at bedtime but gorgeous gathering areas inside and out for catching up!! From the booking through checkout.. Donna was fantastic!! Live Oaks Savannah….We will be back..and soon!!

Outstanding Savannah Location with all the comforts of home

This house was perfectly located, very clean, and had everything we needed. Having the parking pass as part of our stay made it so easy. The beds were super comfortable, and the sheets were so soft! There were extra towels, TP, and even phone chargers in case we forget ours. The private courtyard was so charming, and I loved sitting out there to have a night cap. Walking distance from Broughton Street, the river, tours and restaurants! The whole stay was absolutely wonderful, and I would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

Great spot that is convenient to everything. House was very comfortable for the six of us. The only drawback I could see is that the stairs are very narrow and steep so people with mobility issues would not be able to access the bedrooms.

Great Location!

My group included 3 couples and we were visiting Savannah for the 200th Anniversary of the St. Patrick’s Day parade. None of us opted to stay in the bedroom on the top floor because the stairs are steep, but we had plenty of room! The location is great and it is close to everything! Nothing took more than a 10-15min walk and we were around the corner from the parade route. The included parking pass was a plus too - we parked the car and didn’t move it until we checked out. Would definitely be interested in booking again!

We absolutely loved our stay in Savannah! The house was very tidy, easy to find, close to everything we needed to do. There were a few quirky things, but this is to be expected in old homes. The host is amazing and responded quickly when any questions were asked by our group.

60th B-day College Friends

Had a great time staying at Live Oaks. The house was perfect 6 college friends celebrating our 60th birthday year! We felt very safe walking at any time and it is super close to everything you need to get to. House is beautiful! The beds were all super comfy. The only thing I would say is if you stay in the lower level master suite and sleep in the king bed, you may want earplugs as it is right against the sidewalk and street and you can hear anyone coming by anytime of the night. Also, if you are planning on having any kind of snacks. Make sure you pick it up before you get to the area as there are no convenience stores or grocery stores that you could walk to. We had a difficult time finding milk for coffee, and cheese and crackers to have with wine, which we had to opt for going out and getting a charcuterie board at a rooftop bar. We did have a blast at many of Savannahs, rooftop restaurants and bars, so check them out if you go. I would highly recommend live oaks to any group of friends going to Savannah.

Charming House

We had a wonderful time at this property. Perfect for a group of 7-8 people. There are 4 stories and lots of stairs so keep that in mind with young children or people with mobility issues. Other than that, the house is in a great location and right next to the parking garage. We would definitely stay there again.
