The host was very responsive and helpful! We had various questions throughout the stay and the responses were always very quick. We took several of their restaurant recommendations for things nearby and they were all fantastic. The bed/sheets are really lovely and there are multiple things that make it more comfortable from sound machines to ear plugs. It felt very safe tucked away at the back of a 3 story building with good lighting and a secure gate between tge unit and the street. FYI They do charge a refundable security deposit.

Super communicative and accommodating, these super hosts thought of everything. Thoughtful amenities (including yoga mats and kids toys) and plenty of coffee pods made our visit easy and comfortable. We aren't used to having any upstairs neighbors so utilized their provided noise machines, as suggested upfront. Thorough and helpful guidebook and tips. Scot and Liane have clearly done their share of travel to know what's both useful and nice to have.

Seamless stay in a spotless comfortable homebase for our family's SF visit. Clear instructions and nice recs based on their local knowledge. I really enjoyed using the jacuzzi tub after flying cross-country!

The owners go above and beyond. It was the small things that make you feel at home, better toiletries, extra things like paper towels,Laundry items, upgraded appliances, bedding, Personal service-always available letting you know what and when. The place was super cute and extremely clean. My pet peeve about places - is shower curtains. They have glass doors on both showers! The extra mile shows! We arrived with a welcome treat!

The Home was exceptional... We were very please with all the amenities. It had everything we could have wanted. It was very close to all the tourist things available in San Fran. We walked to get food from two different restaurants. The area was very safe and secure.Parking was a little bit of an issue on the first day because of the church up the street having services.. We had to wait for the people to get out of service before parking was available. I parked two blocks away without any issue. The was was pleasant! All other days there was plenty of parking available. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LUXURY 3 BR!!

We loved staying at Scot and Liane’s home for the weekend of Outside Lands! Our group of eight fit comfortably, and the house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect—walking distance to great food and drinks, and only a quick 10-minute Uber to Golden Gate Park.Scot and Lianne went above and beyond with their hospitality, even dropping off fresh strawberries from the local farmers market on Sunday. Those sweet personal touches made our stay feel extra special.We truly enjoyed our weekend here and highly recommend this home for your travels!

Best stay ever

Reserved for long Mother’s Day weekend to be close to daughter living in outer Richmond/SF. Had my mom and other daughter staying with me and accommodations were perfect. Communication quick and helpful, the book Liane and Scott put together covered every detail of potential question. Location was fabulous, beds incredibly comfortable, kitchen well-stocked and they went beyond with welcome gifts of CA wine, cheese and SF sourdough bread.. Add to that the very thoughtful surprise of fresh strawberries from local farmers market on Mother's day.. Bathrooms had top of line products for shower. Window coverings,built in closets, umbrellas, slippers, lights in all the right places and USB charging outlets for phones…every detail covered and hospitality best of best. A home away from home next visit for sure!

The place is very clean and modern and beautifully designed. The owners are very nice and welcoming. The only drawback is it’s really a basement unit and no light. The windows open, but you are in a basement looking into the wall and you can’t see the sky or anything. It’s a good place if only you want many beds and that was not our goal

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time...Scott and Liane were wonderful hosts...The location was great for us as we were attending my sisters wedding at the Presidio. Also only took us 12-15 minutes to drive to the City each time! We would stay there again and highly recommend it.

Fantastic SF apartment!

This property is an absolute gem! It was exactly as advertised – comfortable, convenient, and absolutely beautiful. SF Modern Luxury is tops!

Thanks so much, Scot and Lianne, for the great night's stay last weekend. We greatly appreciated the snacks upon entry. We were starving after a day's activity. Also, you were right about the best burritos in SF at Caliente Bistro. A definite repeat place.

Short stay in San Francisco

We selected this property for our short stay in San Francisco. The location was pretty good for us. We had a car and drove to most sights. Home was very clean and wonderfully equipped. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, and anything needed to cook. Owners were very gracious and left us fresh strawberries and a welcome package of goodies. Would highly recommend this home if your looking for a place in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

This rental was the best rental we have ever had. We are a family of six so it is not easy to find accommodations when we travel, but this one was perfect. This rental felt new, amenities including linens and mattresses were high quality, it was beautiful decorated and impeccably clean! The hosts were prompt at answering our questions prior to arrival, they had a lovely basket of nibbles at arrival, and they even dropped off a basket of fresh berries on market day and checked if we needed anything to make our stay more comfortable - we didn't, everything was perfect. Despite being a lower level apartment we had beautiful natural lighting, the space was cozy for us to spend family time after long days of walking, biking or horse back riding. The location was excellent, parking was as easy as described on the website, driving over the bridge to Marin or Oakland was very easy and we were walking distance to many restaurants, the neighborhood is quiet and very safe, and great to explore some gorgeous streets on a morning walk. We used their recommendation guide to local shops and restaurants and our teens even used the nearby YMCA to keep up with their training. This was a last minute vacation for us, and this rental made it very special, it truly felt like a home away from home. We will definitely return and would highly recommend to others.

Well appointed unit that exceeded expectations

We spent three nights over weekend dates in this unit. Everything was as described and the unit looked just like the photos. There were a number of highend features that exceeded our expectations. It was immaculately clean and we had a very nice welcome packet wating for us on arrival. We were traveling with a 91 year old with limited mobiliy. Finding a unit in san francisco without many stairs is difficult. This unit does have a few stairs (not many) but with proper hand rails this worked out fine for us. The walk-in shower was also very convenient for someone with limited mobility. The second bathroom has a nice tub too. The host was very communicative and responsed to me quickly with the few questions i had. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to others.
