"The entire family loved the house, the location and of course the beach. A perfect vacation that will probably be repeated."

"This property was wonderful for our family. We had 8 adults, a one year old and 2 dogs and the layout was great! We had a small issue the first day and the owner's immediately addressed it. The location was great being near all the soos and grocery store! I would absolutely recommend this house."

"We had the best stay! Clean and plenty of room for 2-4 people. The beds downstairs were so comfortable (we didn’t use the loft). It had everything we needed; towels, bedsheets, toilet paper, etc. which made our travels easy. It is conveniently located to Havelock, Morehead City, and Newport. "

"This was a great location and a great house for a family of 6 and 2 babies. The house was immaculate and loved the boho decor. "

"We booked this beach house as a last minute family trip. It could not have been better! The house was clean and had everything we needed. Whenever I had a question the response from Tony was always quick. The beach chairs and beach toys were super nice to have there already so we only had to bring a few more. Everything was great, I’d highly recommend anyone to stay in this house if you have a big crowd!"

"We loved our stay at this cottage! The front porch with rockers was our favorite feature as was the charm of this historic place. It included everything we might need for the kitchen, and plenty of towels. The host was super responsive and helpful. It was a quick walk to the fun downtown/waterfront area. We highly recommend!"

"Had a wonderful weekend! Kids loved the heated pool! Valerie was so accommodating and answered messages quickly! She even stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed! She was so friendly! "

"We loved the location and communication with the owner. An 8 minute walk to the waterfront and evwn closer (2 minutes) to the Farmer's Market. Note is that the driveway is pretty narrow so no room to turn around (so you need to either back into the drive or back into the road when leaving. Only other thing was we did feel the yard needed to be mowed/trimmed. Besides that minor observation, we loved staying here and would do so again."

"They house was wonderful. Had a little issue but the host responded very quick and problem was resolved. "

"We absolutely loved this cottage. It was immaculate and very cozy.The owner, Wendell,could have been any friendlier or hospitable.We walked to town to have lunch and shop. The kitchen was adequate for our needs and the bed was amazing. We in fact will return to this property for another weekend get away !"

"Beautiful historic 2 story house. We were 4 women on a girls' trip and the house was perfect! Huge kitchen and comfy living room. Master bedroom/bath on the first floor with 2 bedrooms upstairs (one of them had 2 queens). When we had a problem (our fault), the owner responded immediately.We were a few blocks from the waterfront so it was nice to be able to walk instead of having to get in the car every time we wanted to go somewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!"

"This is a beautiful property. Plenty of room to accommodate our eleven adults and one grandchild. The pool and hot tub got a lot of use through the week. Both were clean and well maintained. Deck space was plenty for our group to spread out. Great ocean view and nice, clean beach. The two kitchens was a nice plus (especially the two refrigerators- one for food, one for beverages. Would happily stay here again. "

"We love staying at the Sandlot! This was our 3rd year renting this cottage and we have already booked it again for summer of 2026! We are a family of 8 adults and 7 grandchildren- the layout of the rooms/ bedrooms is perfect for us. The close proximity to the gorgeous beach is a plus, along with the fenced in pool. We highly recommend this cottage to rent! "

"It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. "
