The house was nice and spacious and very well equipped. Our dogs enjoyed standing on the balcony and loved walking along the beach. A little cold this time of year...but still beautiful! Great place for a family gathering.

Wonderful Stay with Ocean Views and Thoughtful AmenitiesWe had a fantastic stay at this beach house. Although it’s located on the second row, the ocean view was still beautiful and easy to enjoy. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking and dining, which made meals at home convenient and enjoyable.The home was spotless upon arrival, and we especially appreciated the private porches off both the bedroom and the living area—perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The outdoor storage space near the enclosed shower was also a great touch for keeping beach gear organized and out of the way.Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Highly recommended

Great property, even better hosts!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful beach home and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The location is absolutely perfect—just steps away from the beach, with stunning ocean views that we could enjoy right from our balcony. The walkway to the beach is even closer than it appears in the pictures. The beach house itself is beautifully decorated with a coastal theme, featuring a spacious, light-filled open-concept living area and a well-equipped kitchen that made meal preparation a breeze. The bedrooms were comfortable and cozy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after our beach adventures. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor space, including the shower which was especially helpful in getting our kiddos clean after the beach. The best part about renting this home though, was the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive, allowing us to check in early to evacuate from Hurricane Milton, for which we are so grateful. Their kindness didn’t stop there; they even surprised us with a delightful birthday cake for my son and husband, making their special day truly memorable. Overall, this home is a true gem! It has everything you need for a memorable beach experience. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful Emerald Isle vacation

Absolutely beautiful!

This may have been the nicest, cleanest, most well equipped beach home we have ever rented. Perfect location with ocean views from the deck and just steps to what felt like our own private beach. Mary Ann and Scott were such gracious hosts and they literally thought of everything. From the ceiling fans and tvs in every room to the 2nd refrigerator near the outdoor shower. This place had it all! There were spices in the kitchen cabinet along with extra trash bags, dishwasher detergent and even plastic containers for leftovers - a rare find. Very cozy and beautifully decorated as well. We especially loved the captain’s chairs with connected tables on the deck for our morning coffee. 🙂 This home exceeded our expectations! Can’t wait to return!

Great 2nd row location, best stocked place ever, tasteful, dog friendly furnishings; responsive hosts (we lost internet service for a few minutes). Every thing was as it was purported to be in the listing. Lots of steps for Grammy and Poppy.

Wonderful beach house!

Very nice house. Very comfortably furnished and thoughtfully supplied. The owners have obviously thought carefully about what vacationers will want while staying there. It’s just a short walk to the beach. Morning and evenings on the top deck are wonderful.

!! PERFECT SOLICE !!

Well appointed, great location and peaceful with fabulous double deck views! As a whole, this residence is complete with everything! The owners are extremely accessible, attentive and very helpful. The cleaning crew is friendly and responsive ~ we made one call in need of a filter for the fridge / ice maker & it was answered promptly. Kitchen, dining and living area provides a wonderful gathering spot. Bedrooms are setup to provide privacy ~ very comfortable and decorated perfectly for a stay at the coast! A short walk through the "magical forest" opens up to dunes and white beach sand! Upon return, the outdoor hot / cold shower is a gift. Definitely a great choice!!

Great Thanksgiving Stay w/Family

My family and I (Wife, Dog, and Both sets of Parents) rented Mary Ann and Scotts beach house for Thanksgiving this year. We had a wonderful time celebrating the holiday all together under the same roof in Emerald Isle. The house was perfect and had all the items we needed to celebrate our Thanksgiving. Plenty of space for everyone and convenient access to the beach (right across the street). We would highly recommend this property for your family vacation during the holiday or just a trip to Emerald Isle in general.

We had the best time!! Beautiful home that was stocked with everything you would need. The location was perfect as was the view of the ocean. The owners, Mary Ann and Scott are so nice and they let us extend our stay one night!! We will be back next year! P.S. our pets loved it, too!!

Fabulous and Flawless EI Beach Stay

Hands down one of the best vacation rentals and experiences we've had in over a decade of VRBO experiences. Seamless and consistent communication with hosts before and during stay so we were well prepared and well taken care of throughout. We had two littles, two grandparents, two parents, and one dog, and each person (and pup) had their own space, bathrooms, and room to play/rest, while we all shared the well appointed kitchen, decks/outdoor spaces, indoor living spaces, laundry in comfort and style. The beach access can't be beat, just a quick walk across the street to the sandy access beach path (with a boardwalk/boarded path just down the block if walking through sand is tough on older guests). Beach was beautiful with ample space to plant our family and spread out for the day. Town, grocery stores, shops, food options (including a great fish market), all needed amenities all within 10 minutes up or down the road. We never left the island and had an incredible week filled with beach time every day, rest time at home, and wonderful home cooked (and grilled) meals of fresh caught fish, seafood, steaks, and veggies. We loved every moment of our stay and Mary Ann and Scott were perfectly gracious and supportive hosts. Perfect generational beach stay and a wonderful way to wind down our summer and get ready for the school year! Thank you Mary Ann and Scott and we hope to see you again next summer - we love EI and your lovely home!
