Nice property, well located, good food, but very poor cleaning of the rooms, and terrible to be there only 4 nights and 3 without A/C in a room designed for A/C only, extremely hot room with no ventilation and reception from front desk lying about fixing the A/C. Complete building was without A/C, lots of senior people in the hotel having terrible warm nights.

ROACH INFESTATION - Beware!!! Paid for an upgrade to the highest tier "penthouse suite." Roach crawling on our wall in the suite. Roaches in the hallway on the floor where our suite was located. Roach in the Oriental Takara restaurant. No sense of urgency by the staff. Worst vacation ever!!!

Didn’t have properly functioning water throughout our stay. Scalding hot with no cold water made it nearly impossible to shower, and no water at all (hot or cold) to use the faucets or flush the toilet for 2 days! Despite multiple reports to staff nothing was done to fix this during our stay. Very disappointing and would not return because of this.

Misleading. Adults only was 1/3 of property. Majority of dining and entertainment were not adults only. 2/3 of resort set up for families. Resort was built in 2006 as a family resort. Converted 1/3 to adults only in 2014. Wife and I were deeply disappointed and will never go back. Not a true adults only resort. Avoid at all costs.

The property was beautiful! Loved the pools and the most of the staff was great. The hostess at The Knife restaurant was extremely rude. The food was not good at all.

My overall experience was really good. I traveled with a group of 10. Based on everyone’s feedback we would highly recommend checking out this resort. There were a couple of issues related to booking the gourmet restaurants but they were eventually resolved. The staff was very helpful and friendly overall. If you can swing it book an ocean view room.

Absolutely loved our stay here. From Ms. Holly at the front to the restaurant staff at Rodizzio for my wife’s birthday dinner (big shout Kenard!) and the entertainment staff (my guys Clive and Carlyle at the swim up bar are the nicest dudes!) The property is beautiful, easy to traverse with the carts and the activities are easy to enjoy. Definitely returning soon!

On April 15th, 2024, we tried checking in at 2:48pm and the woman at the front desk (long braids, half up in a bun and half down and glasses) was very rude. She told us the room was not ready, even though we were told check-in time was at 3pm. We had specifically requested that one of the 3 rooms we booked, be a double. She said none were available, even though, I overheard someone who checked-in in after us receive a double room. She told us to go to lunch and come back and hopefully the room would be ready. We went to lunch and the buffet was covered with flies in one area, which was disgusting. We came back to the desk around 4:30 and were able to check -in, and then had to wait for our bags, which arrived to our room until 6:30pm. So we could not shower or brush our teeth until we received our bags. The hotel room was disgustingly hot. I went to my sisters room and mother’s and they were hot too. We thought maybe they didn’t turn on the AC because the card was not in the slot by the entrance of the room which is necessary to make the AC be on. We showered and once you got out of the bathroom and got dressed, it felt like you needed another shower. We went to dinner and walked around the property and were out of the room for about 4-5 hours. When we got back, all of the rooms were still hot. My sister, who has high blood pressure almost fainted. I tried calling the desk for help about 15 times for help and no one answered the phone. I went down to the lobby where there wer

I was hesitant to stay here based on the reviews. But I must say I am GLAD I DIDN'T LISTEN! This was by far the best experience I've had all inclusive wise in a VERY long time. My wife & I enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We were treated so well by every staff we encountered. It was my wife's birthday and they showered her with so much love the both of us. So good we will be returning in July just because. Do not believe every review sometimes other's just weren't satisfied because 1 thing wasn't done. Our AC worked great, our room was nice with a nice view, we had 0 problems with guest services and every time we called for ANYTHING it was brought up in less than 30 minutes. So again this might have been because we treat people with respect. So to each it's own lol. SEE YOU IN JULY!!!

We absolutely loved this Adult Only property. Other than the pool closing at 6 and needing additional vegan food options, everything was practically perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. They checked on us daily to identify any needs we may have had. They also marked our room with a birthday banner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Food options were tasty and plentiful. Most of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We did have to ask 3 times for blankets. All were friendly! Atmosphere and staff at the pool, bar and beach were delightful. The exterior is beautiful. The inside definitely needs new grout (some was black), tile and paint. Upgrade! My biggest complaint was the food. With the exception of the Brazilian steakhouse (which was very good as was the staff, everything we had was cold, overcooked and unseasoned, tasteless. The only Mexican dish served on Mexican night at the buffet was some type of enchilada. I have had better at Taco Bell. We used room service, the buffet, a couple of restaurants. All were disappointing. Room descriptions should include the fact that the TV's don't have internet so there was no way to watch Netflix. We had no butler service as advertised. We were supposed to have an hour daily for free snorkling but the person working there said that we had to pay $45/each per hour. We had our own gear. Also, a woman wanted to sign us up for a tour of the property which turned into a timeshare sales pitch. Not appreciated at all. We probably won't be back.

The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The lobby was gorgeous. When we had minor maintenance issues they were rectified promptly.

We did not like that there was not bacardi rum. My traveling mate and myself picked up some kind of bug too. I was not as ill as my friend but we are not sure if it was from something we ate or possible the water. bottled water was provided in the room but not anywhere else. Also, next time we visit we will make sure we bring our own drinking glasses to the bars. The way they were cleaning the glasses did not look very sanitary. thank you for a great time.

The property is nice but the check in is discriminatory. They assist first those customers who has luggage in order to get a tip. I took me two hours to finish the checking and get my rooms. Additionally, the food and drinks are limited.

We loved this place. Everyone you interacted with was super nice. We had an issue with our room and we weregivin( a new room the next day. Easy to arrange excursions and dining reservations were easy to make when we arrived. Someone is always cleaning something there. Food was good and had a lot of choices. If you reserve the Japanese restaurant, make sure you figure out how to reserve the hibachi part.
