We have been in this business for more than 40 years and we do not believe to have built our reputation only on the opinion of family and friends. Regarding our location, Via Margutta is one of the most important and prestigious roads in Rome. The building in which the Hotel is located was built in the 18th Century and it was called "Teatro Alibert". You can easily find the history of both sites with a research on Google.Our Hotel has 28 rooms in total, that vary from the small double room to the Suite. You can easily find the description of the room types on our website with a description and size in meters. The elevator that services the building is a 1960 antique which has been recently updated to all the security standards that the severe italian law requires. Actually most clients like the elevator and appreciate its vintage looks.

Dear Ian, I'm sorry that you didn't have a good time on your holiday, and that the reviews are left by our guests who book on the Expedia channel and not family members. The historic hotel in Rome for over 60 years is located in an ancient building from the 1600s, the lift listed by Italian cultural heritage is more than 100 years old and everything is new and fully functional and compliant. The structure was recently renovated in 2024 and has all the best services available for our customers. Breakfast and cleaning have always been our best services. We have different types of rooms, your booked one was a small Classic, I always recommend a Superior or a Triple Deluxe which are certainly more comfortable. I would like to point out that all the staff always put their utmost effort into offering the best stay to customers and if something is wrong, let it be reported immediately so that we can find a solution together.
