This was my first VRBO and I was hesitant. I really enjoyed my stay. I was there for a convention and it was short safe walk to the convention center which really made it nice. There are a lot of really great places to eat within short walking distance (I’m picky about restaurants and walking too far). It’s mad it nice because parking can be hassle. Check-in was a breeze and the people were very friendly. The apartment has everything you need. It was nice and clean with all the amenities. A huge bonus was the parking in back. 9 for 24 hours. Can’t beat that and it’s right by the entrance. I will definitely be booking with them next year.

Great apartment downtown. We loved the location and the space. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars- the mattress was soft and sunken in the middle. No support. Definitely needs an upgrade.

A Total Vibe

My husband and I were in town to watch the Dave Matthews Band for 2 nights. When searching for a place to stay, location to the venue and good eateries were a must. We walked into our apartment and it was a whole vibe in itself. Beautiful hardwood floors, decor was top notch, spacious and clean - it was like I was a part of the band staying in my own little suite because it sits above a music store too. Our apartment overlooked Broad st. It was fun to people watch while enjoying a glass of wine before the shows. Mark and his entire team were chefs kiss. From check in to check out. Top notch. I think it was Jason who checked us in (I could be totally wrong - plays in a band, long dark hair) and let me tell ya, he did everything but roll out a red carpet for us. If he had a carpet, he probably would have. He helped us unloaded our luggage, showed us to our suite and gave some great tips on places to eat. Thank you so much sir!! You were amazing and deserve a raise. I would absolutely book this again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

There was little to like. The property was misrepresented as a "Penthouse" the only definition that fit this description was the fact that it was on the top floor. Not 600sqft, not clean at all. And worst of all the owner will not give full refund.

Richmond Penthouse

Super cute place and good location walkable to many restaurants. Could use some more dishes & cooking utensils. The only inconvenience is the parking that expires at 6am daily. You have to set your alarm to renew the parking since it can't be done automatically with the app.

Just what we needed

We were looking for a centrally-located, comfortable spot from which to explore Richmond. I can’t do stairs, so the easy access from the parking lot out back and the elevator made it perfect for me. Our hosts greeted us warmly and urged us to contact them with any issues or questions. We didn’t need them, but it was nice to know they were close by, in the music store. The 4th floor apartment was spacious and plenty quiet enough despite being on a busy street. We were very pleased and would come again.

Very efficient and homey

My stay at this location was flawless. The host went above and beyond and provided intricate amenities that matter when staying away from home. The property was clean. Quiet. And very welcoming. The on larding process was quick and very professional. An actual representative was there to give a tour and to answer any questions or concerns about the property. One of the best experiences I’ve had using this platform. Highly recommended and would definitely utilize this listing again.

Great Stay in RVA

We have stayed at a few of Mark's places and always have a great stay. His places are clean and well-maintained. We love the location, so close to everything. This top floor place had a nice view - we love the large windows overlooking the city street. Mark is a great host - he has always been very responsive and accommodating.
