Short Richmond Trip

The sunny Cottage was a great place to stay in RVA. It is clean and spacious and close to every thing in Richmond. The azaleas in front a beautiful!

Very enjoyable stay. The house was a short drive from family and only one block from Byrd Park. Could not have worked out better.

Wonderful experience. Home was well equipped and super clean. Host was most accommodating. Great location to downtown Richmond!

Nice little home.

Nice little home for what we needed. I’m not sure about the neighborhood, as a lot of homes are abandoned. The house has everything you need and they keep it very clean. Communication was excellent & owners were very helpful.

Centrally located cottage

We visited Richmond for 3 nights to visit family. No matter where we needed to meet people, we were always only 10 minutes away. And when we needed a break, the cottage was a nice getaway.

Everything was perfect here. Carisa made sure we had everything we needed. The area was very quiet and literally walki g distance from Byrd park. We loved everything about the house.

Great getaway that was close to everything

This VRBO was reserved so my wife, children and grandchildren could fulfill several family obligations around Richmond from VCU to Midlothian.Location was terrific just off the fan and super close to Cary Town. Tens of options for dining and a quick shopping trip for that always forgotten necessity.Three rooms with two queen beds and two twin beds fit us perfectly. Combined with a tastefully appointed furnishings and room for two parked cars made this an all around great choice for us.We will be back on our next trip as not only was this a great place but the host was wonderful to work with!

Convenient and Comfortable

Roomy and well-appointed house close to many Richmond attractions and restaurants. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for a family of 5 with everything one would need in a vacation kitchen as well as ample towels and board games. Never had to drive more than a few minutes to museums, restaurants or other amenities.

Very Clean and all you’ll need

Place was spotless. Fabulous communication. Easy to access and within walking distance of Byrd Park. Highly Recommend! Very centrally located and easy to get to all the Richmond hotspots.

cottage home

This is a cute property a short walk from Byrd Park, Maymont park and Carey town. The only minus is low water pressure and not so comfortable living room furniture. My husband and I are in our 60's so we look for comfort.

Conference Stay

This home was simple, clean, and inviting. Our group of six needed a place for our weeklong conference in Richmond. This home worked perfectly. We were not far from downtown, so easy for our own driving our for Uber rides (there is public transportation also). The hosts were very available and communicative through the app, without being in any way invasive. We would stay again!

Very accommodating host and cosy house

The cottage was small but very cute, and close to good eating places, and museums. Our dog sitter canceled on us, but the host welcomed our dog with no problem even though the change was so last minute. The only negative thing is that right next to the property is a burned down house that makes the location feel unsafe, but there was no issues with that.

Came to visit my son for thanksgiving. He recently moved to the area. Nice place. Clean and good size. Bed is master bedroom was extremely uncomfortable. Other beds not as bad

Excellent experience!

The cottage was perfect for our stay of three nights with my college (and recent college) age kiddos while we were visiting my daughter at her summer position with the NPS. Everyone had their own room! Kitchen was very well appointed, plenty of coffee, and the house was spotless. The laundry was very appreciated. The location is great to get to the Fan District but what was REALLY helpful was the off street parking - not something found frequently in Richmond and kind of a pain elsewhere! We had consistent easy communication with Carisa and would absolutely stay here again (and will be recommending to her dad when he comes up to help move her back).

Solid place to stay

The rental is set up as a basic rental but has everything you need for a long weekend. Basic cooking set up, laundry and toiletries. The beds are very firm. The house was clean when we arrived. The parking in back is clutch. The neighborhood is so/so. Not the worst, not the best. It’s the city. There is a bus stop conveniently located right outside the door. No complaints!

Homeowner is AMAZING!!

We love this place!! The homeowner was extremely accommodating! We wanted to check in earlier so she had her cleaning staff prioritize her house which allowed us to get just early enough!! I wish we could have stayed longer but it filled up too fast!! Rightfully so. I would recommend her to everyone! Thanks for and amazing experience!! You should charge more the home had everything in abundance. Power towels and so so much more. Best we have stayed in so faraway

Sunny Cottage in Great Location

This property was perfect for our stay in Richmond. It was close to everything! I loved being able to walk to Byrd Park every morning for some exercise and sunshine! There were so many wonderful restaurants and other things to do (shopping, hiking, museums) just minutes from this location. We visited both Maymont and Belle Isle for some outdoor fun plus the Museum of History and Culture. We had all that we needed in the cottage to relax and rest up for our next adventure including coffee, games, soft throw blankets, a great hot shower and comfortable beds. The home is close to the street so night traffic could be heard but a fan that was in the cottage provided white noise to block that. I would highly recommend this property and the hosts were very communicative and made sure we had all we needed.
