NO HAY RECEPCIONISTA
Increiblemente no hay no recepción, ni recepcionista. Casi 300€ para una habitación (la 205) abuhardillada que no tiene ni armario. Está en un alto espectacular y el hotel por fuera es precioso, pero NO TIENE PERSONAL, solo un teléfono para llamar, con unos números que no pasaban hasta pasados 10 minutos de llegar.... Nadie a quien decirle que no funcionaba "gran" TV (creo que tendrá 24" si mucho), o que las vistas al propio tejado del hotel eran lamentables... Lo bueno es que la máquina de café está 24 horas, porque el desayuno es de mínimos..... La verdad, para 300€ me esperaba algo BASTANTE MEJOR.... No volveremos, obviamente

Hotel boutique bien situado en la ruta del sur
Buena situación en la ruta del sur. Hotel parece de reciente construcción en madera que le da un aire de hotel boutique. Entorno muy bonito. Sala de estar agradable y bien acondicionada. Jacuzzi exterior.Desayuno correcto. Sin servicio de recepción, entrada siguiendo instrucciones que se reciben por mail sin ningún problema y con teléfonos de asistencia por si lo hubiera. Repetiria

Hotel bonito, pero muy caro con desayuno aceptable
Hotel muy bonito pero con habitación sucia. No hay nadie en la recepción, aunque allí es frecuente. Desayuno aceptable, para lo que hay en Islandia. Precio muy caro.

Recomendo por el entorno y tranquilidad...
La entrada al hotel es extraña, que no haya nadie y que se acceda con codigo se hace raro pero no es un problema y pudimos acceder mas rapido que con un registro normal. La habitacion en nuestro caso algo pequeña por el techo bajo. No era muy comoda, pero el baño y la limpieza asi como decoracion es buena. El entorno es fantastico, el spa a cielo abierto con el fondo de montaña es unico. Muy recomendado para una noche. Hotel de paso.

Lástima de hotel, dada su ubicación y encanto
El peor hotel de los 9 alojamientos en que hemos estado de Islandia, destacaría la poca limpieza, escasísimo almuerzo. Califico este hotel como muy malo para el precio que tiene. Decir en si que el hotel esta bastante dejado.

Estábamos en la planta baja con un pequeño balcón/terraza - hay que asegurarse de que la puerta al balcón está cerrada con llave para que no entre nadie.

Cute hotel at the end of a private drive. We had room 201 and shared with friends of ours. The room was very tidy and spacious, with a lovely balcony with great views. Yes, the bathroom smelled like sulfur but it's common in Iceland with hot water. The common area was very spacious and was a great place to hang out. We loved the breakfast served in the morning, which was just enough fuel for the start of the day. Unlimited access to coffee and cookies was also a delight throughout our stay. We enjoyed the hot tub outside, but wished it were a tad bit warmer. Overall, this was our favorite hotel that we stayed at in Iceland. It's private, quiet, has an easy check-in process, nice breakfast, and is very spacious.

Loved everything about this property. Cozy room, cozy living area for everyone to share, good breakfast in the morning, nice hot tub. Felt very remote and the views surrounding were breathtaking.

A perfect last minute stop, mountain side along the Southern ring road with easy, quick access from the main road. Perfect breakfast in the land of few restaurants far and between. Very responsive to get check-in code for room via email and or phone at reception.

Really nice property, but one complaint. There was a deck area that staff used for smoking. It was both under our room window and also in a spot I would have like to have had breakfast. The inside breakfast area was cramped and the outdoor area was great--other than cigarette smoke.

Very clean and inviting decor and room. Beautiful location, kids enjoyed running up the little mountain in the back. Hot tub had a great view. Breakfast was by far one of the best Ive had at a hotel, fresh, delicious, well presented, and extensive. Would totally recommend!

I will say that the building has a log cabin feel to it. The appearance from outside and the entry are fabulous. Check in is by a phone call. They give you your room number and code for a key box. Our problem was our room, #104. Once I entered the room, smelled like a backed up septic problem. I immediately had to open the windows to air out the room. Since no employees at facility, no one to talk to. Needless to say, less than satisfying experience. I hope the other rooms smelled better than ours.

We booked a last minute stay here in room 201 for our family of four. It was a really nice property beautiful views and a cool river right in front. The hot tub was warm not hot but that was better for my kids anyway (if they added a cover like other places we stayed it might have been hotter) we didn’t notice any sewer smells the water everywhere smells like sulphur though in Iceland. We were the only guests at the hotel so got the whole common area to ourselves. The breakfast was basic mini pancakes (probably frozen kind) pastries fruit and yogurt along with warm rolls. Try to get the code in advance via email otherwise it seems you can’t call for it until after 4PM which is check in time anyway. It was on the pricey side but Vik was more and only 30 minutes away. The Skogar waterfall is super close and had a great restaurant

This was a horrible experience. You never see the booking staff on site and they’re impossible to reach via phone. When I finally did connect them about my booking to check in, they said my booking had been cancelled and hung up. I never cancelled this booking. We had to book a last minute room and then look for new lodging altogether. When I contacted Expedia to resolve the issue, they said there was nothing they could do to refund me the money taken by this property. I’ve been scammed out of $1,000 USD. I will never book at this property again and I will never book through Expedia again.

This hotel offers the breathtaking view of mountain and a peaceful moment from hot tub. You can get free coffee whenever you would like and good choice of breakfast. I liked the quiet and awesome log house style. You can just step into the another world. Thank you so much.

In April we booked two nights at this property for an August stay. One week before our stay we were told by Expedia that the property was overbooked and we were cancelled. We were able to rebook one of the nights there only to find that the price doubled. Two days before that stay we were again cancelled because of "overbooking". We were in a remote location at the time during a very busy time. Luckily we were able to find two very nice hostels. We are outraged and frustrated by this treatment. Do not book this location!

The floors squeaked horribly above us. Sounded like the people above were about to fall through the floor. If you go here I would highly suggest a second floor room and be mindful of the people below you. For the price, this should be addressed. Water in hot tub was not hot, hence nobody ever used it.
