"Host was welcoming the place was clean and cute. Supper close to the light rail like a 5 min walk. Close to the red apple grocery store as well. Host was well communicated and responsive. Had a small issue with the mini fridge in the room but the host was very responsive about it and fixed it no issues. This is a great place to stay if ur traveling solo or without a car due to the convenience of the light rail. Only thing i dint love were the steps down to the room arent very “Luggage Friendly”...

"The space is so cozy and so well designed. The hosts were kind and very quickly responsive to all of my questions. The location is perfect, right in the middle of a bunch of local attractions. The kitchen was the perfect size for cooking yummy meals and even baking homemade cinnamon rolls! We already can’t wait to come back for our next stay! "

"Awesome view, nice location near Winslow, quiet and serene. Would recommend, particularly for a couple! My husband and I stayed for a night while my parents babysat. The view was beautiful, and I loved watching the ferries come and go. It was peaceful, with birdsong during the day. We enjoyed the short drive into town. The host provides very detailed directions, so we found the house without any problems, even though we arrived after dark. It was a little chilly at first, but there are multiple...

"I have had many pleasant experiences with VRBO but the experience at Whidbey House was just about perfect. The hosts were helpful and responsive, the property is beautiful and we had everything we needed and much more. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use and the water was always hot! As a bonus, we were visited daily by a family of deer. I cannot think of any element that is missing from this lively Whidbey Island vacation spot. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Phinneywood Basement Hideaway. We slept very well. The property was easy to access and the rental was well equipped with kitchen items for cooking at home, and had plenty of bathroom accessories (towels & toilet paper). It was well lit at night and best of all, it was very affordable for our six-day stay. We hope to be back!"
