Gary and Dinia were wonderful hosts. They were incredibly accommodating and responsive. The house was amazing and in a perfect location. The house had everything we needed including all of the fun beach items. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Gary's home was a wonderful base for exploring Kauai's north shore! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have a spot; a quiet and lovely walkable neighborhood; a helpful and responsive host. We especially appreciated the covered upstairs lanai with a beautiful view during the winter rainy interludes and the large well stocked kitchen (including spices, oils, etc.) that made preparing meals a pleasure.

Amazing home

We had a really good vacation time, this home is very big clean, it had everything we need and has beautiful views. The area is very quiet clean, very close to Hanalei shopping center, food land supermarket and the beach. I highly recommend this home.

Multi-generational group

The home met all our needs for an all-ages trip. Slept 10 comfortably, lots of beach gear, and a well stocked kitchen made our vacation easy. Three separate living spaces allowed for everyone to pick their favorite TV show and 4 bathrooms helped us to all get ready at the same time. The only thing we were missing was a rubber spatula but you’re really looking to complain if a spatula is the only thing! Gary was helpful in answering our questions and giving us direction on the island. The location within Princeville allowed us walking access to Hideaways Beach, the pool at 1 Hanelei, and amazing views of both the beach and Na Pali mountains. Thank you so much for hosting us!

The house is beautiful and well appointed. The views of mountains, waterfalls AND Hanalei Bay were next level. Loved the fruit in the yard, flowers and birds. Walked to Queens Bath, Hideaways, Puu Poa and Nourish Hanalei. Smell of flowers in neighborhood was incredible. Great jumpoff for Kalalau to Kapaa. This is our 8th time to islands. We've stayed oceanfront, beachfront and some very wonderful homes, but my daughter (24) said best house ever after about 30 minutes. Breezes do keep it cool and we're in Poipu now in one that doesn't. Can't recommend enough.

Family Vacation

Our trip to Princeville was perfect thanks to this beautiful property. The house was well-equipped with everything you might need to explore the island. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of hanging out space and the views are exceptional. Our host, Gary, was always so prompt in his communication and welcomed us with an adorable hospitality gift! Thank you so much Gary! Mahalo!

Awesome stay in Princeville

We stayed in Princeville as our kids wanted to stay along the North Shore. Everyone loved this beautiful, spacious home. The upstairs was perfect for gatherings or quiet time on the lanai. There was plenty of room for 4 couples if privacy was needed. The stairs going to the second floor were nice and wide. We took advantage of the coolers, paddle board, sand shoes, and beach chairs. Everyone had a great time! Would love to stay again. Mahalo nui loa.

Absolutely Amazing Property!

Lani Hanalei was the perfect location for our recent combined family trip. The house and property are both absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. The location was perfect for our group of 8 (comprised of pre-teens, teens and adults) - located in a quiet neighborhood but close to beaches and activities. The views from the house were stellar, and the “extras” - bikes, surfboard and surfboard rack, as well as snorkeling equipment - were wonderful to keep kids and adults busy. Gary kept in touch and was easily reached when we had any questions or concerns. We can’t wait to come back again!

We had a marvelous time in Kauai. The Lani Hanalei was a beautiful and relaxing place to call home for the week. The property fit our needs perfectly. Everyone had their own space and there were comfy areas for group visiting. The best vacation I've been on yet.

Lovely Home with Stunning Views

Wonderful home in a great neighborhood. The views are simply amazing. The house was very clean and comfortable. I knew I had made the correct choice right after I booked this house, as I received the nicest message from Gary. He was ready to help make our vacation the best ever, and to help with anything we may need. Excellent communication. Very comforting when one travels from so far away. The house has beautiful surrounding yard and foliage. We had access to the garage for storage which came in handy for the boards we brought along. The house is spotless. Kitchen very well equipped. Beds comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet, except for a rooster or two off in the distance. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we are lucky enough to revisit Kauai and the Princeville area. Thank you for sharing your home!!

Great Family Stay!

Our family of nine adults stayed at Gary's lovely home while visiting Kauai for the first time. It was nicely located and close to everything we wanted to do. The house had plenty of room for all of us and everything was great - plenty of bathroom space and the beds were super comfortable. Beach towels and umbrellas were both available for our use. We didn't use any of the beach equipment except a couple of the boogie boards (I hope that's what you call them!). The views from his home are breathtaking! Time spent on the deck/lanai was a highlight. Gary was good to communicate with, which was also very appreciated. Highly recommend.

Family Reunion

Nine of us stayed at Gary's amazing Princeville home for 10 days. We are a family hailing from Melbourne Austraila, Los Angeles, CA, USA and Cape Cod, MA USA. Two seniors, 5 adults in their 30s and 40s and two little ones aged 5 and 2. The house was heavenly. It was better than the VRBO descriptions and pictures reveal. We loved it. The location was ideal - we vistied 6 different beaches, we walked the Princeville trails, we drove all around the lovely Island. Gary was quick to answer all questions. He could not have been more accomodating. We all hope to come back again soon.

Family Gathering

Gary opened up his home and hospitality as a host was superb. He was able to guide us on places to eat and companies to use for excursions. It was a very warm and inviting house and the view from his upstairs balcony was amazing every morning.

Island Paradise in a perfect location

This house is gorgeous. I will say it does not have air conditioning and that is typically not a problem if the trade winds are blowing. During our stay the trade winds were not blowing very hard, so the house was warm, but we made it work. Can't say enough about how perfect this house was for our family and friends. There were 7 of us and we fit perfectly. The location is fantastic. A very short walk to the Hanalei Bay Resort which has a great restaurant and bar area. We also went to the 1 Hotel which is gorgeous. A great beach just steps away too. Short drives to other great beaches, botanical garden, plantation train and ATV ride into where they filed Jurassic Park. So many things to do. The outdoor shower was great for hosing off the sand. No bugs anywhere and cute geckos and birds galore. The backyard is gorgeous and you can get there from most of the downstairs bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic view!

What a lovely time we had! The bedrooms were all spacious and comfortable, it was so great having a downstairs space for a family to have a kitchenette on their own with a young child. The kitchen and dining was spacious, but truly the most amazing part was the view from the lanai. We spent a great deal of time out there! The garage has lots of supplies for you to use at the beach. We look forward to coming again someday soon.
