Upon our arrival we found the home to be as advertised. Unfortunately, the parts that were left out are there was no ac. The home was hot as in sweat hot from about 2pm until around 9 daily. Especially, if you were preparing meals in the kitchen for dinner. Entering the pool we came to a sudden stop about knee deep. The water was so cold our feet began to go numb. There are such things as solar blankets these days. Upon our disappointment we headed to the hot tub. We found it adequate for two people. Thank goodness we didn’t invite friends. Unless you are extremely friendly, this tub is just big enough for two people. The master bed has “peaks and valleys” where guests have slept and the mattress was just this side of sleeping on concrete. We chose one of the spare bedrooms to sleep. Since they don’t give you enough characters to list the other things, which were disappointing, I’ll try to summarize. On more than one occasion we had people in our back yard day and night unannounced. One night we arrived at 7pm to find our drive blocked and someone in the back yard in the pitch black with rear doors and windows left open. A last touch we were grilling our last night to discover the propane tank empty as well as the spare in the garage. BOTTOM LINE: We would not return to this property! As nice as it appears, the amenities were mostly unusable. The only reason for 3 stars was you can hear the waves crashing on the shore sitting out by the pool. The only place to be from 2-9pm.
