We have stayed at many VRBOs and this was by far one of the best. The communication with the host was flawless and the home was lovely. We plan to book it again next year for spring training!

The place was a good value for the money. The main reason for the lower rating is that none of us got a good night’s sleep the entire time we were there.Pros: The outdoor space is beautiful, with a saltwater pool, clean hot tub, and an adorable shed that works well as a private workspace separate from the house. There’s also a nice grill (which we used twice) and great outdoor seating for dining.Inside, there were plenty of towels for showers and the pool. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, which we did during our stay, and all appliances worked well. There were ample cleaning supplies, and several desk areas if you need to work. Check-in and check-out were easy. There’s also a helpful binder with instructions and local guides.Cons: The knives for food prep were very dull, so we bought one and left it for the house. Unfortunately, not a single pillow in the house was comfortable, so everyone struggled to sleep. The mattress in the “fishing” themed bedroom also needs replacing because it bows in the middle.Also remember the house is in a neighborhood. A loud diesel truck left nearby around 5:30 a.m. each morning, and later in the week the neighbor behind the house had late-night parties. Between the bedding and the noise, sleep was difficult.

Check in was easy with good instructions. The house was very clean and well stocked. It has a great family room with comfy couch and nice TV. The best part of this house is the location. It is really close to restaurants, grocery store and a fabulous mall for those extra hot days.

2025 Spring Training

The house and location were perfect for our family of four. The owners couldn’t have been more accommodating and the communication was exceptional. They even let us know that a haboob was coming and to stay inside because of winds and dust. The house was very clean and had all the amenities needed. We would highly recommend this property and would book again!

Great place, nice amenities

We stayed for 5 nights. Very clean, comfortable, easy highway access and in a great, safe location. Everything in the home is nicely updated and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We took a golf cart ride to Old Town, which is about a mile away. Fashion Square is right down the street as well, which was super convenient. It’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a park and splash pad right down the street. The pool and hot tub were wonderfully maintained and clean. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Communication with the owners was easy and they were quick to respond and very kind. We were texted though 3 minutes before the pest control arrived to leave the backyard while we were just getting ready to spend the day in the pool. The pest control said kids and dogs should stay off until it was dry (which wild take a couple hours). That was the only wrench in our plans staying here, otherwise, a great place to stay and we would come back.

Amazing Dog-Friendly Home

This is one of the most amazing VRBOs we have ever stayed in. Everything was clean and well maintained. We came from Ohio to Scottsdale for 4 days for my niece’s wedding and were traveling on to California afterwards to visit family, so we had our two golden retrievers and our son’s black lab with us. It is so hard to find a place that allows 3 big dogs, so we are so grateful to Maryann and Ralph for letting us bring them and stay in their home. The pool and spa were amazing, and our son used the She Shed for a work call, which was a great additional feature. The washer & dryer were also nice and convenient. The next time we come to the Scottsdale area to visit my niece and her husband, we will definitely look to stay here again!

Beautiful Home

All We Needed

Our almost 4 week stay at the Beach House was extremely enjoyable. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, there’s a park/playground close by. The house has just about everything including very comfortable furniture & beds. The pool is excellent - we had a great time lounging on sunny days. The orange tree even provided a few oranges! The location is perfect to get on the highway - we were within a quick drive of most golf, shopping & baseball. A few more pool towels & plastic glasses would be great but overall this was a great experience.

I would give 10 stars if I could.........

Absolutely beautiful home! The location is perfect to access everything Scottsdale. The neighborhood is very quiet. The home has amazing charm and has been completely updated. The cute critters and decor are such a nice touch. :-) The kitchen is fully stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The back yard is amazing and was perfect for our two pups. I've stayed in many vacation homes and this is by far up there near the top of my list. I will always stay here when I visit Scottsdale in the future. Thank you so much to Maryann for a wonderful weekend.

Cottage perfection

My husband and I, his parents and brother needed a place to stay for a local wedding. The layout of the house, decor and backyard were perfect. The location of the house gave us easy access to all wedding events, personal side trips and visits with nearby family. Perfect experience. Excellent hosts.

Spring Training and Spring Break

My family and I are avid SF Giants fans (except for my Dodger-fan mom) and always enjoy watching our team in the Cactus League. We found this property in our search for places close to the Scottsdale Stadium…and were very pleased with house! Immediately upon opening the front door, we knew we made a good choice! Super clean, tastefully decorated, stocked with fun games and household supplies, and a lot of seating options (inside and out). Plenty of leftover supplies (which we contributed to on our departure) made it nice as we forgot a few items on our grocery run. The hot tub was great in the cool mornings, sitting on the patio was very pleasant, and evening games at the kitchen table worked out great! Super quiet neighborhood in the evening was nice. No issues with neighbors, close to grocery stores, quick access to the 101 loop freeway. Very responsive owners when needed, but their house manual is extensive and provides all the details needed for a comfortable stay. All in all, a great location and a great property.

Comfortable, Great Location and Well Appointed!

The old town beach cottage was the perfect spot for 3 co-workers to call home for 3 days while working in Arizona. Proximity to Old Town and the freeway were perfect. The beds were firm, which I love! The kitchen was better stocked than any house I've ever rented. The hot tub was super clean, the TV worked. I couldn't have been more pleased with the home and Maryann's communication before and during our stay. It's saved in my likes for when I return to Scottsdale!
