"First the good news - and its almost all good. Communication with the host was excellent. The property was clean and orderly. The sofa bed in the living room was a quality item. The location of this cabin just can't be beat, especially for the price. Less than stellar: There is no oven underneath the stovetop. Propane grill works great. "Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Have everything. Feel like staying at home. Owner provided very detailed instructions, which made it easy for visitors to find the driveway entrance. Not far from sequoia national park entrance but it takes over 40 mins to the popular sites in the park. So If it is for visiting sequoia NP, it will be better to stay inside the park, to avoid driving back and forth along the winding mountain road."

If you are accustomed to well-maintained short-term rentals, you may want to lower your expectations. We arrived late, and the home was difficult to find due to poor exterior lighting. "May 2026. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and functional, but not elegant. More like a Best Western than a Hyatt. Minus one star for the location. A little too remote for us, but it might be perfect for you. No gas stations, grocery stores, or restaurants in the area. 30 minute drive to the national park entrance. Twisty windy roads. WiFi was 220 Mbps down and 10 Mbps up. Possible suggestions: some sort of sign at the turn-off from the road, extra trash bags, clean up the yard."
