Precioso apartamento Le Marais
El apartamento es fantástico, en pleno barrio de Le Marais, cerca de casi todo y con todas las comodidades. Las camas muy confortables, los baños perfectos y el salón - cocina, decorado con un gusto exquisito. Nos hemos sentido como en casa. Es tan bonito que, después de todo el dia paseando por París, llegar es sentirse como en la mejor de las suites. Gracias Mónica y Thierry.

Vivir como un parisino en Le Marais
Encantador piso en una estupenda ubicacion para visitar Paris y sentirte por unos dias como un parisino mas. El salon con sus columnas de madera haciendo de separacion entre la cocina-comedor y el salon, la chimenea, una pared de piedra y esos techos tan altos con vigas de madera le dan un caracter especial a este estupendo apartamento. El piso esta decorado con muy buen gusto y al minimo detalle, el sistema de iluminacion es otra de las virtudes del apartamento, con lamparas muy originales en las que podias elegir que parte del salon querias iluminar, pudiendose regular hasta la intensidad de la luz deseada. El apartamento cuenta con dos baños con duchas espaciosas y wc, asi como otro baño con wc y aseo, con lo que aunque seas cuatro personas no hay problema en tener que esperar para usar el baño. La habitacion principal es otra estancia destacable, con una cama enorme tipo dosel de madera con unos espejos en forma de ventana muy originales, a destacar la comodidad de los colchones. Es un apartamento muy tranquilo en el que no se escucha ningun ruido de la calle al dar a un patio interior y no a la calle, por lo que esta asegurado el descanso sin molestos ruidos de trafico. La cocina esta equipada con todo lo necesario para poder prepararte tus alimentossi quieres comer en casa, vitroceramica, horno, microhondas, lavavajillas asi como con todo tipo de vajilla y utensilios de cocina. La ubicacion me parecio un acierto aunque no fuera una calle especialmente bonita, pero en 15 minutos andando llegabas a Notre-dame o callejeando por el precioso varrio de Le Marais hasta llegar a la fantastica place Des Vosges. Ademas para ir a cualquier sitio a una manzana de distancia(menos de 5 minutos andando) la parada de metro Arts et Metiers y otras dos paradas no mucho mas lejos de esta, tambien existen varios supermercados cercanos al apartamento. Sin duda ha sido una experiencia poder haber visitado esta hermosa ciudad y despues de cada jornada de visita de Paris poder llegar a descansar a este precioso apartamento y descansar tranquilamente como si estuvieras en tu propia casa.

My friends and I stayed at Ivan’s apartment for our 50th birthday celebration in Paris. The apartment was perfect for our stay. Great location, comfortable and just as pictured. We were greeted with a lovely cheese plate and bottle of champagne. We loved our stay!

Great apartment for our week in Paris.
We really enjoyed this apartment. We are a family of four with two adults and two kids ages 11 and 16. The setup of the apartment with two bedrooms, one bedroom with queen bed and one bedroom with two twin beds was ideal, as was two full bathrooms. The apartment was charming and nicely decorated. The location was good and not crowded or touristy. We enjoyed a number of the restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood during our visit. The apartment is convenient to the Arts and Metiers metro station.

I recently stayed at Ivan’s lovely apartment in Les Marais for the second time, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. When we arrived, it felt like a home away from home, providing everything our family needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances, making it a breeze to prepare meals during our stay. The two bedrooms were comfortable, and the beds were cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. A wonderful place to stay
This was a charming flat in the marais with attention to detail. Comfortable beds with nice linens, slippers provided. Ivan and Faycal were welcoming, even ordering Nespresso pods for us to have on our arrival. Faycal was very helpful answering our questions and making sure our transportation got us to the train station on time. We hope this flat is available on our return trip!

Cute Comfy Place
Very nice, clean, comfy flat in the Marais. Good walking location to everything. Very comfy beds to sleep after a long day of touring. The only issue was check in. We waited outside flat for 10 minutes, we thought Faycal was going to meet us there since he arranged our transport. I recommend getting all Faycal's contact info and over communicate your arrival time and confirm he will be waiting there.

All around great!
My sister and I stayed at this apartment for a week and have nothing but positives to say. Faycal arranged airport transfers via taxi, which was really helpful after long flights. The apartment is clean and comfortable and the neighborhood is centrally located. We enjoyed the cafes nearby, but also spent some time relaxing in the apartment after long days of sightseeing. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Paris.

Luxury service in a comfortable apartment
This classic Parisian apartment was perfect for our family of four. We loved the location in the Marais and the easy access to the metro. I greatly appreciated the luxury-hotel-level bedding and amenities. The kitchen was fully equipped. The property manager was very helpful and available if needed. He arranged for an airport transfer and even supplied our favorite Nespresso capsules. We loved the neighborhood and the easy access to everything. The building is very quiet and stayed cool despite the high summer temperatures. We hope to return soon.

Your search is over !
Weve rented various apartments all over Paris for 20 years and this is our favorite.! It’s unusual to find a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. We came with friends so it was nice to separate baths. Also the living room is fairly large for Paris. It’s a great place to take off your shoes after long day exploring Paris and relax. There’s plenty of small places just a few steps away where you can purchase a yummy rotisserie chicken and fresh fruit and veggies and (of course) a baguette for your own very French dinner. The kitchen is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. I’m could write a separate review on how wonderful the owner Ivan is and how responsive and helpful he was to every email.. He arranged a driver to meet us at the airport and take us straight to the apartment. His representative in Paris , Faycal , met us there and walked us through everything we needed to know about the area and the apartment. He went above and beyond my expectations when he met us again when we left. The car that came to pick us up was too small for all our luggage. He stayed with us and helped get us transportation in a timely manner to make our next connection. The apartment is very centrally located with an easy walk to Notre Dame , close metro stops, and the Marais is choked full of museums, shopping and foods of every kind. We’ve already decided that we’re staying here again the next time we visit Paris , our favorite city .

Wonderful property
My husband and 2 teenagers stayed here for a week in April. It is exactly as described. The apartment is charming and spacious as well as conveniently located. The kitchen and baths have been nicely updated and attention was paid to the comfort and quality of linens, towels, and bedding. There are 2 metro stations close by, and the apartment is also walking distance to many sites such as the Pompidou Center and Notre-Dame. We walked a short distance to dinner most nights, and there are all kinds of shops for groceries around as well as many pharmacies. My husband had no problem working from the apartment - wifi and plenty of space to work. The manager of the apartment was there to greet us and help us with our bags when we arrived. He also promptly responded to questions we had during our stay and arranged for airport transport. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Amazing!
My sister and I stayed at this property in February (2022). Honestly, we were blown away by all aspects of our stay. The beautiful photos in the listing do not do the space justice. The apartment itself feels spacious and every area is intentionally utilized for maximum living comfort. The ceilings are very high and the common living space/living room feels really open. The furniture looks great and is also really comfortable. The home is beautifully decorated by someone who knows what they are doing and really cares about doing it well. It does not feel stripped down or thrown together the way many vacation rentals can seem. Another nice touch are the towel heaters in the beautifully updated bathrooms. The amenities provided are also well above average. Sheets, duvet, towels are all great quality. Nice toiletries are provided and the blow dryers are all well above normal hotel/rental standards. The hosts also leave you a bottle of champagne. The hosts are among the best I have met! Ivan reached out well before our stay began. Faycal was so helpful! He arranged our transportation to and from the airport, helped us take our luggage up 2 flights of stairs, provided an excellent overview of the property, and was at the property to assist our check out process the very early morning of our departure. Ivan and Faycal made everything easy. Finally, the location and neighborhood are excellent. There is a metro station nearby but the neighborhood is also incredibly walkable. Great restaurants, shops, museums, etc. We loved the Marais neighborhood and cannot wait to return. If you are considering booking this property and are lucky enough to have your dates align - just do it. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Wonderful stay!!!
My husband, daughter and I stayed here for 10 days including Christmas, and the entire visit, we kept remarking how happy we were that we chose this property--for so many reasons! The management was responsive and helpful. Faycal offered to arrange a car to and from the airport, which was great. He also met us in front of the flat to let us in and show us around. There were some special treats waiting for us when we arrived, which we really appreciated. We were absolutely delighted by the flat, which felt really safe and was even lovelier and more spacious than the pictures revealed. There are 2 locked entry doors into the building and the apartment has a deadbolt and heavy front door that seemed very secure. We were visiting our older daughter who is going to school in Paris, and we had plenty of room for all of us in the dining room and we thoroughly enjoyed the spacious living room. It was a perfect place to celebrate Christmas--so warm and inviting. The flat has high ceilings and a lot of old world charm, while being completely modern. It has 2 private bedrooms and bathrooms. The water pressure in the showers was strong, and everything was clean and beautiful, and the towels were thick and soft. There are hair dryers and a mirror with magnification. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is really cute and fully stocked, in terms of dishes, serving dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, food storage, etc. There is a full range/oven, microwave, washer/dryer and a small dishwasher and refrigerator. The wifi worked well, and there is a TV with some streaming channels. They have loads of books. The apartment is very quiet, being located above courtyards in the center of the building, so there is no street noise. The location is perfect, only about 2 blocks from the metro and 5 stops to the Louvre. It is in the heart of Le Marais, and there are dozens of lovely shops and restaurants on the street and the surrounding streets. There is a small pastry shop that sells croissants and other pastries next door to the building entrance and at least 2 markets, a butcher and fish market within the block. There were also 2 good Japanese restaurants within 200 ft. We loved our stay here and will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Paris!

Ganz nett, aber für den Preis nicht unbedingt nochmal.
Das Be- und Entladen ist in dieser engen Strasse eine Zumutung. Das Parken leider auch. Aber das ist in Paris ja normal. In den ersten Tagen gab es nur einen Schlüssel für 4 Personen! Dann einen weiteren. Das war leider nicht optimal. Sonst ist die Wohnung sehr zentral und schön. Aber die Heizung war nicht steuerbar und es war sehr kalt in der Wohnung. Kühlschrank kippte beim öffnen fast aus dem Einbauschrank. Abdeckung Spülmaschine fehlte. Müsste vielleicht mal wieder repariert werden. Sonst haben wir uns eigentlich dort wohl gefühlt.

First class stay
Our party of three 60 year old women were blown away by the beautifully decorated and excellent use of the flat’s 800 square feet. This apartment had everything you would need for your stay. All high end amenities (Dyson fans) and great stocked kitchen. The only thing you might not know is there are actually two flights of stairs which as you can expect are old and uneven. This was fine for our mobility abilities except for the fact we had very heavy suitcases. Faycal went above and beyond by helping us bring up our luggage and even coming back on our early departure (6:45 a.m.) to carry down our bags. We so appreciated his help and great attitude! He also arranged transportation for us from the train station and to the airport. That was convenient. The apartment is in the heart of lots of restaurants and shops. I encourage you to read their book of instructions as it would have solved our difficulties in booking Ubers.

New Years in Paris
Fantastic apartment in a convenient location. The unit was just as shown on the VRBO site, very nicely appointed, clean, everything was top notch. The property manager met us on arrival to welcome us and tour the apartment. The location is central to most major tourist sites yet is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of eateries and shops.The transportation strike prevented us from using the Metro but we were able to easily walk to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, etc. Highly recommended, an amazing find!

Wonderful & Quiet apartment in the heart of the Marais!
The pictures don’t do this property justice! A charming, full-of-character, flat that is spacious and convenient to all things Paris. Thierry, the property manager, was in constant contact and provided us with all the pre-check-in information we could ask for. He was away for our check-in, but had his assistant present to hand off the keys and go over the particulars. The flat itself is perfect for a family, with a queen bed in BR1 and 2 twin beds in BR2, large living room, 2 bathrooms(!), dining area and great little kitchen. And sooo quiet! It sits in the interior of the second courtyard and therefore provides absolute peace and quiet! And the neighborhood offers some great cafes, boulangeries, a really great little dumpling house (Jiaxhao’s Buns), and right down the street from theMetro and the Pompidou. If/when we return to Paris, we most definitely will try and book this property again!! Also, the host provided us with a mobile WiFi device (so very generous!) and so we were connected to maps and info during our excursions about town. Couldn’t ask for more from a property and a host! Thank Ivan and Thierry! We had a wonderful stay! PS: One caution to those traveling with little ones—>the windows, like most in Europe/Paris, are large and sit pretty low to the floor. Make sure you keep a watchful eye on your curious and adventuresome kiddos, or be really clear with them about the dangerous nature of them, or just keep ‘em closed when you are at home. We had the tiniest of scares because we weren’t even thinking — nothing happened, but still want to give everyone a heads up, nonetheless!

Perfect place for our family to visit family!
This is the first time we have had to rent a place as our family in Paris has expanded. We could not have asked for a better apartment to call home for our visit. Everything was flawless - from the moment we arrived until the day we sadly had to go home. What you see on the website is exactly what you get - and what a get it is! We would not hesitate to stay here again. I will add that our Parisian family members were very impressed when they stopped by....that's saying a lot! *Two notes - if one is driving as we did from visiting family in Germany - the street is very narrow in front and you will block the road completely when unpacking the car. I was grateful we had our two strapping sons with us to very quickly pop everything out of the car and onto the sidewalk so my husband could get the car out of the way! It is not a busy street by any means....Also - the parking garage suggestion is not close to the apartment - it's about 20-25 minutes away - we felt that should be noted as well! I do hope we get to stay here again in the near future...

Lovely apartment in quiet neighborhood
This was a wonderful apartment in a nice neighborhood, centrally located in the city. Perfect place to stay while in Paris!
We just enjoyed three amazing nights in Paris (far too short!). Ivan’s beautiful apartment was the perfect home base. Traveling with two teenagers we had the perfect amount of space. Two separate bathrooms that were five star quality. The bedrooms were so comfortable we loved having our own beds. We enjoyed just relaxing this comfortable apartment at the end of long days of touring. Neighborhood was a terrific location for restaurants and groceries etc. Even better in person than the photos! Can’t wait to go back. Thank you Thierry and Ivan for a beautiful stay.

Paris was our last stop in a 2-week trip to Paris and we had a great time staying at Arts et Metiers. Check in process was smooth and well communicated in advance. Recommendations on how to best appreciate the area and travel were also top notch. The place was super charming and we would absotuley stay again. Thank you!

Everything about renting this flat was top notch. From the initial communication, everything was so easy and accommodating. They even allowed us to drop our bags a little early. The unit itself is warm and comfortable, and the neighborhood is a great home base for all the major Pairs sites.

Paris perfect
Everything about this apartment was perfect for our stay in Paris, including the location, the amenities and the lovely furnishings and extra comfy beds! Class, Charm, Character - We loved it here.
This apartment is highly deserving of all the 5 star reviews. What else can be said? Comfortable beds, high quality sheets, beautiful decorations and every kitchen utensil you could hope for, Ivan has thought of everything. From our first communication, to the warm welcome we received at check-in, there was no detail that was not outstanding. Even coffee, water and a bottle of wine were ready at arrival. With a fantastic location you are far enough from the crowds but close enough to everything you come to Paris to experience. Our family of four would happily stay here again and we're pleased to give Pied-a-terre yet another 5 star review.

A magnificent Parisian experience.
The apartment is spacious and lovely. Every detail is well attended from the fully appointed kitchen to the comfortable inviting bedding. The location is quiet and easily accessible to the metro, and all that the Marais has to offer is within a short walking distance. Our family loved the experience of being in a neighborhood and staying in an apartment among local Parisians. Ivan, the owner of the apartment and Theiry, who lives there are very responsive, welcoming and accommodating. They could not have done more. There are some stairs to climb which were not a problem for us, (three generations of women from 70 to 8) but might be a consideration for some. Theiry helped us with our luggage which was very much appreciated. The apartment is conveniently supplied with paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, and shampoo. Our entire family loved the accommodation and wished we could have stayed longer!

Impeccable, luxurious, and comfy home base in a great neighborhood
We could not have been more pleased with our stay. The apartment is impeccably and interestingly decorated with a layout that gave all three of us private time when we wanted it. The bathrooms are very high end and gorgeous (my son loved having his bathroom en suite!). The beds are very comfortable and the sheets soft. The apartment was stocked with tons of real cooking equipment, travel books (including the ones I had lugged with us!), and an unexpected stock of novels and movies. Thierry, the manager, who lives in the apartment complex was really clear in his instructions and welcomed us with everything we needed to know and little gifts. There was a binder with all the instructions for the stay — very helpful — and the apartment was very clean. The neighborhood is great. On a quiet side street within walking distance to lots of restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and two metro stops. For those of you who have not ever rented an apartment in Paris a heads up that, like many apartments, there is no A/C, but wonderfully powerful but not noisy fans (Dyson, I think), the stairway up to the apartment is windy and narrow (and charming), and you can see and hear people in other apartments when the windows are open (which I think adds to the atmosphere). Thank you so much, Ivan and Thierry. It really felt like a home; a dream home. We hope we get to return soon.

Great apartment, great location.
We’ve been renting from VRBO for years and this was probably our best rental to date. The apartment itself is beautiful and the attention to details made our stay even more enjoyable. And the location was great too...a straight 15 minutes walk to Notre Dame. I highly recommend this unit.

A lovely stay!
As NYC residents who live in a third-floor walk up in a 120+ year old building, this apartment truly felt like a second home for me, my husband, and 15 year old daughter, and made our stay particularly wonderful. The space itself is as lovely, well-decorated, and clean as it appears in the photos with comfortable beds, beautiful linens, and well-appointed bathrooms and kitchen. The location is ideal -- easy access to trains, shopping, markets, and the many restaurants and bars of the Marais, and within walking distance to the major sights. Situated in an inner courtyard, the apartment was very quiet and virtually free of street noise (but we do recommend remembering earplugs if you don't already travel with them, as if the downstairs neighbor is entertaining on a weekend night with windows open, conversation does echo in the courtyard). Ivan and the property manager Thierry were both very thoughtful and helpful before and during our stay, and quickly accommodated our request for an early arrival due to a late-spring snow storm in NY on the day of our original departure. They provided a lovely welcome basket with bottle of champagne, and a helpful guide to the apartment and neighborhood as well as numerous guidebooks (in English). All in all, we were thrilled with our stay!

Well appointed, very comfortable and in a good location
We were made welcome by Thierry the local manager. The apartment was very convenient for many of the sights of Paris. The kitchen was comprehensively stocked with electrical equipment, cooking utensils and crockery. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom functioned well. Everything was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location and wonderful stay!
This beautiful apartment is in a great location and is well equipped for anything you need. The stairs are narrow and we had one night (in five) where we heard neighbors talking until late. Otherwise, it was very quiet. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Great host and owner with good communication before our stay.

Living like a true Parisian
This apartment is a hidden jewel, nestled in the charm of the Marais. To access it, you make your way through two stone courtyards and up a wooden stair lifted straight out of a fairy tale. Inside, the place is all exposed beams, mortar, and dramatic lighting, like the setting of an 18th century painting of peasant life....but what sumptuous amenities! Crisp white sheets, thirsty and abundant towels, handy city guides, whimsical fixtures and first rate kitchen supplies. And the unit boasts not one but two marble-tiled showers with exquisite water pressure. The owner and his representative were courteous and so very helpful; in no way intrusive but available to address any concerns. This is the Marais, so you don’t get thrilling views; just the windows and rooftops of crowded buildings nearby. But it hardly matters. The apartment itself is rich with the very essence of Paris: old-world authenticity, idiosyncratic but richly appealing design, and steeped in luxury. For four glorious days, we pretended to be true Parisians!

Quiet!
Enjoyable stay in a clean comfortable flat. It should be noted that the stairs are steep and windy for luggage carrying. The washer is a bit confusing to use, study up on the meaning of the dial icons! There could be extra blankets and towels. A lovely apartment with plenty of tour books in English left behind by previous visitors. Shower and bath are updated and very nice. Beds are comfortable with bedroom curtains that keep out all light, so set your alarm. Kitchen is functional, updated and clean. Our host was available by email when we needed a doctor nearby. A welcoming place to land at the end of our long days of touring Paris.

Fantastic Property in a Perfect Location
First, a little context is necessary. My wife and I are self-professed "hotel snobs" and think that the place in which you stay can make or break your vacation. And before this trip, we had never stayed at a VRBO before. Because of that, we were a little reluctant, particularly because we were traveling with our 2 kids (ages 9 and 7). The experience (and stay) couldn't have been better. For starters, the owner and manager are VERY communicative and go out of their way to answer questions or address any concerns. We landed mid morning with 2 tired kids. Knowing this, they went out of their way to hurry and get the apartment ready for our stay before noon, even though the previous travelers had just checked out that morning. We were so grateful, as it gave us a chance to unwind a bit and catch our breath. We were greeted with a welcome basket, and thorough tour of the place, instructions on how to use everything, and a laminated book capturing everything we needed to know about the place and the neighborhood. Their emails before hand were very instructive and gave us everything we needed to know once we got there. The apartment itself is perfect. The rooms are large and well apportioned. The 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds were great for our kids, and them having their own bathroom was extremely helpful. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, including new appliances. The apartment is quiet, and located conveniently within 2 blocks of the Metro stop, many restaurants, and 2 grocery stores. If you elect to do so, you can easily walk downtown -- it took us 20 minutes to walk to Notre Dame, and 25 minutes to St. Germain. Also, you're a 5-minute Metro ride away from the San Lorenzo train station from where you can reach anything in the City. We were at the Eiffel Tower in 10 minutes. Because the place is run like a hotel, you never miss any conveniences that otherwise come with staying at a hotel. In fact, this is better. For our first VRBO experience, we couldn't have been happier. The only thing we would change is that next time we will stay longer! Thanks again!

2 bedroom charming with up to date kitchen and bathrooms.
Our second stay in this beautiful and quiet two bedroom, two bath apartment Even better than our first visit two years ago. Great location 3 blocks north of Pompidiu Center but only a 5 minute walk to the center of the Marais. Very well equipped with every comfort except AC. The owner is the best!
