  • We took a 5 day rafting trip down the San Juan. Our second camp site at Hanaker had an amazing hike up the canyon wall to a look out over the river and canyon. Very hot hike, but the views were amazing. If I did this one again, I would probably go in the morning. The raft trip itself is pretty easy, only one Class III rapid. Paradise

Highly recommend this gorgeous home, it was the most beautiful home we have ever stayed at. It was quiet and surrounded by a gorgeous forest. The hot tub was so relaxing, the heated deck and grill served some wonderful meals, there was a great game room downstairs and plenty of games to keep us busy on the snowy days. The hosts were responsive and readily available to help us at any time if needed. The beds were very comfy and each room had its own temperature controls. The garage access was a great benefit. Loved everything about this house, we will be back!!!

Fun In Pagosa

This is truly a beautiful home and in a great location; very well appointed in all rooms and our overall experience was excellent. Loved the hot tub; views were awesome! Some thoughts for the owner: 1)) Instructions for using the television as it appears there is only ROKU but there are no local channels to get news, weather. sports, 2) It is hot in the unit! We attempted following instruction for closing windows during the day and opening at night but really didn't want to keep them open at night due to the potential for local critters getting in. The main room has no curtain or screen door and that would help with the heat. 3) we did find silverfish in drawers/bathrooms and some towels.

Exactly What We Needed!

Beautiful, comfortable home on a large treed lot with peaceful front porch and huge quiet back deck to view wildlife from. Many deer sighted and loved them "calling" to each other! A couple of improvement suggestions: so many light switches! If they were labeled, it would make it so much easier. Also, primary bed on the side of the bathroom "creaks" with movement and interrupted sleep. Very clean property, loved the location and have already recommended this property to friends!

Great Home for Families

This home is comfortable, large, and great for families. We had more beds than needed (I didn't realize that the bunk room had two bunks (4 beds in one room). The game room was a bonus feature for our grade/middle school-aged kids. We were there for a ski vacation and the laundry room was excellent for all our gear. The garage is nice and big. Hot tub, sun-porch, loved it all!

I love this property

Recently my grown children and I stayed for the second time. We love this property! Much nicer than you'd expect a "cabin" to be. Spotlessly clean, tons of amenities, and wildlife visitors every day. Wish I could live here!

Great House

This was a great place to home base in Pagosa. It is a little bit of a drive from 160, but easy to get into town. The solitude was great and the neighbor's horses were the delight of the five year old girl in our group. Overall a great stay.

Terrific house with lots of space and great manager

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Lots of space for 6 adults and one infant. Nice setting. Very nice neighbor, who everyone engage with his horses. The property manager was extremely responsible, even delivering some cookware from his own supply late one evening. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was as perfect as possible. Would definitely recommend it.

Great family vacation

We stayed here with our four kids during the first week in July. The house was clean, well-appointed, and just as nice as it appears in the listing. The views are lovely and we enjoyed the openness of the property. In a nice neighborhood, but neighbors not too close. The only small complaint was that the house was somewhat warm (on the main level, the basement felt great.) I know it’s very common for mountain homes not to have air conditioning, but coming from Texas in the summer we are used to having the AC blowing all the time! We got used to it and figured out how to best cool the space. The management company was very friendly, easy to reach when needed, and quick to respond. All of our kids have asked if we can stay here again the next time we come to Colorado!

Villa Del Sol

Our group of eight (6 adults, 2 toddlers) stayed here for 6 nights. This place was amazing! We will definitely be returning. The house had everything we needed and had plenty of space for everyone. The drive to town took about 10 minutes, so it was a quick trip for groceries and sightseeing.

Family vacation

We had a great time & loved the house. It looked just like the pictures & had lots of space for a group of 7. We loved being outdoors; we sat on the back deck with fire pit going to keep us warm as we watched the sunrise & sunset. The hot tub was lovely after hiking in the area. We had quick & pleasant service for the few things we needed from management company. We would definitely come again and/or recommend this property to others!

Absolutely loved our stay!! Communication was fantastic, directions and book inside very helpful! The heated floors and the hot tub were our favorite!! Loved waking up and heading downstairs for a recliner, morning news and coffee. Beds very firm and comfortable! Kitchen well equipped and easy access to town! If we had any recommendations would be to upgrade washer and dryer as dryer takes a while to dry and washer was very loud. Thank you for allowing us to make memories and have a great weekend!

Spectacular mountain home!!!

Can’t say enough about how great this house was for our ski trip. The house layout is so great, and the amenities are top notch. Victor from the management company was great with communication, and the property was clean and had million dollar views. Location is amazing, as it is secluded but easy to get to downtown Pagosa, and an easy drive to hWolf Creek ski basin. Thank you for contributing to great and memorable family vacation!

Stunning mountain home
