This was our first time visiting the Pagosa Springs area, and this place was perfect for our trip. The location is great—easy to get to, but far enough from town to enjoy the quiet and the beautiful views from the living room.The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfy, and having an empty garage and plenty of parking was a nice bonus. Overall, a really comfortable stay and a great spot to unwind. We’d definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway

We had 6 adults staying for a 4 night 5 day stay. This place was great in a beautiful neighborhood. The hot tub and the Blackstone were a huge plus. There are great asphalt side walks. The movie room upstairs was a great place to relax. This VrBO is well stocked with everything you need.

7 days of pure bliss

This house deserves 10 stars! From the house set up to the customer service that we received, everything was incredible! VIP made sure our trip was perfect and we couldn't have imagined anything better. The house is so cozy and comfortable! We didn't want to leave! We'll be coming back!

Spring break

We came for my kids spring break. The house was lovely and very clean. We all enjoyed the movie room. My kids thought it was really cool. We also likeed that it was pet friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

September Pagosa Springs

We loved the location of the property. Great walking paths. We loved watching the football games in the great TV room upstairs. Great views from the living room and dining room. If you have accessibility problems I would be caution of the master bathroom. You need a steep stool to get in and out of the shower. And the walk way down to the fire pit can be tricky if you are up in age. The house needs a deep cleaning inside and outside. Be aware that the hot water shutdown as well. It’s an on demand hot water systems. It appeared to be a known problem because there was instructions on the unit on how to fix it. We did address all our concerns with VIP. With several follow ups we finally did get a response.

Perfect house for a large group

The house was well equipped and super comfortable for our group of 8. We loved hanging in the hot tub and soaking up the views from the living room. The beds were comfy and everyone had a great time!

Property was in a great location for what we were there for. It was clean and well stocked. They don’t give you many towels! Because towers were down I didn’t get my check in information until after check in time!

My husband and I were introducing Pagosa Springs to our friends. This house was awesome. Was close by everything but made you feel secluded. the views of the mountains where spectacular and we enjoyed the hot tub. All communications where great with Lori and we will definitely come back again.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Relaxing Bear! The home was amazingly spacious and comfortable. Loved the media room upstairs, so cozy! The only thing that wasn’t great was the hot tub, it needs to be maintained better-doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned for a while. Would give all 5 stars for everything if this had been clean. Would definitely stay again when we’re back for another ski trip!

Great getaway

This was an outstanding home base for our family of 4, including two young kids. Communication with the property manager was great, and the property was super clean and well set-up. Relaxing and great views. Lots of games and a wonderful upstairs movie/play area that the kids took over. Walking distance to a brew pub with good food, and also an excellent pizza place. Was a very good base from which to explore the area.

Annual Colorado vacation

So what was so cool about the whole experience was that I was the only person in my entire group that knew what the cabin looked like. I kept it a secret until we showed up in the driveway and everybody couldn’t have been more astonished at how luxurious the cabin is. I can honestly say after over half a decade of coming to Colorado, this cabin has by FAR been the best stay. The property manager exceeded all expectations and then some with communication. (They need a raise lol!) Seriously, coming from an experienced traveler, YOU WON’T REGRET STAYING AT THE RELAXING BEAR! For sure coming back!
